Good morning everybody, I'm up early - rough night's sleep - couldn't fall asleep then DH was snoring, so it was about 1am when I eventually dozed off. Then DH had to get up at 5 to leave early for work & DS decided he should get up too. Awesome! Yesterday we were able to find a costume for hire for DD's school thing in a couple of weeks so that's organised. I've got a headache to boot atm but took some panadol. Today I want to get things ready for the week & finish making a birthday card, even though it's show day holiday here for the kids tomorrow. I'm going to take it slow & steady & hopefully catch a nana nap somehow. wishing you all a great day

Hi Elasti and anyone else to come
Oh, Elasti, I feel your pain. Last night I was asleep, dreaming of being asleep on the recliner couch next to DH who was snoring in the dream. I had to wake myself up in the dream (you know prize eye's open) just to realize to was DH snoring. Then I woke up in real life just to realize that is was still DH snoring. Almost smothered him with a pillow. He is lucky to be alive this morning
Working on my Pantry Project today. Needed to reshuffle some things to fit in new Slow Cooker and microwave ware that I've stored on top of the fridge for too long. I have removed 'good' dinnerware and 'good' coffee service (so good they NEVER get used) and am washing them up and putting in new buffet (next to dining table), probably still won't get used, but will be less dusty in there.
I have decluttered 1 large boiler to the garage for future kid moving out. And I have quite a pile of rubbish/op shop donation.
Ok time to get back to it.
Wishing you a Super Sunday

Hi Elasti, I feel so much for you and hope you get a clear head and a good night's sleep tonight. Feeling rested changes everything! My lack of sleep was partially self-inflicted - DH bought tickets to a concert last night and we'd had a busy day anyway, but then we had a possum visit (found hiding behind the dresser in our bedroom) and that was our 3am adventure, but possum, home and DDog who found it all ok.
Hi Shellie, Good luck with your kitchen project. Just saw an online replay of Peter Walsh and the Living Room declutter special - now thinking of ways I can attack mine.
Hi everyone,
After the late night concert and our possum adventure very weary today. I went to the farmers markets this morning, which was lovely - breakfast out for everyone and some fresh produce for the week. Did the normal butcher/grocery shop on the way home with DS4. I have been feeling that I need to spend more time with him as he's off to school next year and with the busyness of the rest of the family, I want that special time. So instead of taking the big kids (more useful, generally), DS4 and I did the butcher and grocery shop and then walked home. I thought he might baulk on the walking home, but singing "I'm following the leader" x 8 all the way home worked a treat.
DH has taken the big kids to see Guardians of the Galaxy which should be fun for them.
We're off on holidays in less than 4 weeks now. I was hoping to have more done this week.
Hope you're all having a good day in spite of the challenges and love your company and sharing our goals.

I wouldn't sleep either, after that lol Checking in - washed the sheets, remade the beds, washed a load of clothes, browsed a few scrapbooking blogs, got in a little 20 minute kip at lunchtime & I've finished making a card. It didn't quite turn out as nice as I'd hoped for but not bad for my first go at that type of mixed media. Feeling a bit blah now but DH should be home in about an hour so I'm going to PUPA my craft table, fold & iron, bath DS, cook dinner, shine the sink & call it a day. Then try again tomorrow. here's a pic of the finished card-

Hi Shellie, Elasti and Elizabeth Today has been super busy. DD was up for a couple of hours again last night So lack of sleep, then church, then helped Dmum and Dnana shop for a printer each & a new computer for DNana, then home to pick up DH & DD to go to a combined birthday family gathering with in laws. FIL is not doing well, I am worried the chemo isn't working. Now home, do night time routine & get DD to bed, then try to get the dishes & laundry done at least before going to bed. Hope everyone had a good day
