Good morning girls, Judy it's good to hear that the work meeting went well We bought a new bigger clothesline yesterday after visiting 3 different places. DH spent yesterday afternoon ripping out the garden bed & plants (old & scrappy anyway, nothing precious) where it's going to go So this morning he wants to take that rubbish to the dump, fix up the fence in a couple of spots & put up the new line. I think I'll get into some more papers & the zone again Wishing you all a great day

Hi Everyone Glad to hear Dh is cleaning up while putting in the clothesline Elasti- is he FLYwashed or what?? Medusa- you are so clever sewing clothes for DD! Thanks for all your support. i have to ay some of the girls at work were quite worried about their jobs. As I’m close to retiring anyway I dont really mind.I dont know exactly when i will retire- DH wants me to work a bit longer but I dont really think i need to. Im hoping once things settle i can cut a day a week DH is away this weekend and todays plan is to ….
wash, dry and straighten my hair, go to the local shops, babysit DGD tonight at their house and do some things on my weekend list. I have started to clean up the fridge so thats an extra on my list
Hope you all have a Great Day!! x x

Hello lovely ladies, I'm back! As of 6.30am this morning, back in Aus and very happy to be home. We had a lovely time away in Oregon and California. It was great to spend so much time with DH and the kids and create some great memories together. Today, I've been on a roll unpacking, sorting, planning and trying to get things back together. The stresses of work have not yet hit, although they will, so I'm trying to keep some perspective on that. I can hardly believe there's only 9 more weeks of school left, then DD finishes primary school and DS4 will be starting big school next year. When I started planning with my calendar again, I realised just how busy our weeks are. DD12 and DS8 start cricket season, but it's a steady week this week as DD is off on school camp for the week tomorrow, so we're without her usual activities. I agreed with work to make up the time I was away rather than try to take leave, so it's busy, busy for that.
Goals left for tonight: * Make fresh orange juice with DS4 (suffered a lot with strange foods while travelling and has not had a good diet, so I'm pleased he's asking for some healthy choices) * Read with DS8 (needs to finish a class text by Monday so he can catch up with English) * Write 4 thank you notes and prepare to send to US next week * Fold and put away washing (declutter clothes and store winter clothes) * Check DD's packing for camp
Looking forward to popping back and reading what you have all been doing.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
