Hi everyone,
Getting in early. Have started trying to be more assertive with DH so he's coming home early so I can get ready for my school reunion. At this rate, I may even get to meet DGf for drinks beforehand. It's exhausting coordinating everyone, but at least I get a little of what I want.
Today is work from home before meeting this afternoon. Priorities are email re. job offer (must decline - too much with family stuff too), complete timesheet (will be nice to get paid), and PRODUCE the work!
Also, wash cricket whites, confirm change of address for music lesson, get money for music lesson, sort transport for tonight.
Hope you have a good day.

Good Morning Elizabeth and all the Lovely Ladies to come
Elizabeth, it is exhausting coordinating everyone, I understand completely. Enjoy your school reunion, and I hope you get that pre-dinner drink with your GF.
The last few days have been a little busy.
Tuesday was over to DMums for her errands and groceries
Wednesday was WHB Day, my groceries and a visit from my 'grey nomad' girlfriend. She basically lives is a converted van and travels North in Winter and back to Canberra for Summer (where her daughters live), she is heading home. Only comes for 1 evening, once (sometimes twice) a year. But she also visits 100 other people along the way, the rest of the time she camps at free camp sites up and down the coast. These site range from being a paddock with nothing more than a sign and perhaps running river to ones with public bathrooms, running water, gas BBQ's and easy access to the towns facilities. Some even have courtesy bus services run by either the stores or pubs. It's an interesting life. If she hears of a protest about something she supports she will divert her travels and go lend her support to the cause.
Thursday was DMum's Lung Specialist appointment. I picked her up in the morning, bought her back here for lunch, got DD16 from school at 12.30 then off to the Dr. Not too happy, he has dropped DMum as a patient. Basically given up on her. Told her she is getting too old and frail and after years of treatment, is incurable (which we already knew before he took over the practice) and that we can only treat the symptoms now (well that's all we've really been doing for 10yrs). It was a little shocking for us as we had no idea this was coming. Pretty upsetting. But now both DMum and I are just mad at him. He didn't even really say "I won't be seeing you anymore", it was his secretary (wife), when I said "I get the impression your not going to ask us to make another appointment", she just said "No, but we wish you all the best". What the hell!!!!!! Don't they make some sort of oath. Anyway, we will head to the GP next week and ask for a referral to a new Lung Specialist.
So Today. I need to get some cleaning done. A quick grocery shop from fresh veg. I think DH and I might be 'home alone' tonight so might try to find something special for dinner.
Well time to get a wriggle on, this house isn't going to clean it's (I know, I've watched and waited....and NOTHING) lol
