So much for my plans yesterday, I ended up injuring my back, taking DMum to hospital for extreme abdominal pain, having Dfriend cancel meeting as she was sick and then baby sit neices and nephew while the other nephew was taken to emergency for stitches in his head.........
So today should be taking DD to drs for ear ache, going to osteopath to fix my back and checking on DMum in hospital.
Have a great day

Good Morning Medusa and all the Lovely Ladies to come
Oh Medusa, you are all 'in the wars', aren't you. Speedy recovery to you all.
Yesterday was a bit of an out and about day, had to take DD16 into the 'city' and pick her up again. Leadership day (she is a school prefect). Honestly they don't seem to spend much time in actual school. Anyway I got my groceries done, ran into a ex-neighbour (and friend). He was the husband of a neighbour I was really really super close to. She just 'dumped' me and I could never understand why. Now he is her ex, I asked him. He said 'as with most of her friends, when I had 'served my purpose' I was no longer required and she just moved onto someone else she felt she could get more from'. Seriously who does that? So as I expected I am truly better off without her. I have had an awkward 5yrs of living 2 doors away and her refusing to speak to me or the kids. For some reason she still was chatty to DH. But they finally moved out about 3months ago, and I have really felt more at ease since then. And now with his comment, I know I am better off.
Yesterday we also had our 1st swim of the season (in our backyard pool). Loving the Solar cover which has heated the water to a nice temp. I bought a 2 pairs of swimmers at the end of last Summer, exactly the same, but couldn't get the same size. So yesterday I put the SMALLER pair on, and they felt great, in fact not tight enough, but are fine for the back yard pool. AND...I didn't feel terrible in them. DH even slipped me a compliment which was lovely (rare but lovely). Not exactly 'bikini ready' (never will be), but comfortable in my own skin which is nice.
Today I have taken DD16 to school and done a quick shop at the Fruit and Veg (the only place I can buy TAYLOR'S Mango Vinegarette Salad Dressing). Now I'm off for a quick walk to the Bakery, then home to mop the floors. DD16 finishes at 2.30, then she is going to a Halloween Party this evening. 'Super-girl". DD20 is also planning on going to the Uni Halloween Party, she has "BatGirl" costume, but she didn't sound too excited about it last night. Not sure what that's about.
Anyway, Good Bye October. Wishing you all a Fabulous Friday and a Wonderful Weekend to come. I think I will be floating in my pool with a good book for some of it. Time to start working on my tan (safely of course).
