Morning Elasti and those to come
Today is a dedication ceremony of a hall to FIL at his church (well, it was his church) then lunch at MIL's with family.
DD is currently crying as none of her outfits are perfect.... this is what happens when there isn't a stay at home day during the week....
Hope everyone has a great day

Good Morning Elasti and all the Lovely Ladies to come
I am doing the happy dance here this morning. For those who have been following (tolerating) my weight loss journey, I am a hair's(hare's) breath away from goal weight. I have really tried to 'tighten' up my diet this last few weeks(although there have been some slip-ups along the way) and it seems to be working. I have fallen into the next decade on the scales and I can see goal weight from here. This is my 2014 goal, not my final goal, but still WOW!!! YAY!!! WOOHOO!!! Tomorrow is 'official weigh in day' for me, and I am so keen to reach goal. It is just short of 9months since Elasti and Judy convinced me to finally give Dukan Diet a go, and I could not be more grateful to them both. You have both helped and encouraged me along the way (when no-one in my real world seem to notice or care).
Yesterday was an ok visit with Dad. He did argue a point with me about something, but then had a realization that my brother had probably been lying to him and that I had my facts straight. The situation doesn't matter, just the fact that at 48 I am still 'questioned' and at 54 my brother still feels he need to be a big fat liar. And Dad has to continue to be combative. Silly old bugger.
Anyway onto today. The weather has cooled off quite a bit and it looks like it will be a nice day. I have a few loads of washing to catch up on and a small ironing pile to deal with. DH has this arvo off and I've already suggested a BBQ dinner. We have a busy week ahead with Dance Dress Rehearsal, a few appointments with DMum, etc so I might give the house a quick WHB this morning too. I think I'll go for a little walk to IGA 1st as the girls are still asleep.
Wishing you all a Super Sunday and hope your having a Wonderful Weekend.

Hi everyone, Feeling a little more civilized after a swim. Not nearly as productive as I would have liked today, but survived the heat. I cleared my dresser this morning and am loving the open spaces in it. Reminds me how cluttered the rest is. About to get moving on tomorrow's prep - lunches, bags, work, etc. I hope those in the heat kept cool today.

Hi Everyone Glad you had a day off on Saturday Elasti- we all need those days too! Medusa- yep it is hard when you are busy all week and can’t stay home to get the basics done although I can remember my DD when she was 4 getting to kinder (what we call preschool ) late because we couldn’t agree on an outfit. Whoo hooo Shellie on doing so well and losing so much weight. How exciting to see your goal in sight!! Now could you give me some of that motivation pleeeeease!! You are lucky to have such good weather Elizabeth! Speaking of weather we had a months rain fall last night. The night of my DS20s early outdoor 21st party . We did have 3 gazebos set up and we all enjoyed it but it would’ve been so much better if it hadn’t rained THE WHOLE TIME!! Anyway thats the way it was and DS20 had a great surprise and a great time so thats the main thing! My DM, DexSF and DD25 all stayed the night and we all went to our church.-DD29 and her DH go there too and then we all and DS20 went to a pizza restaurant for lunch. Then I picked up our new lot of DBP- 2 really nice and helpful German girls. All in all I did 5 loads of washing for DS20 this weekend as well as 3 loads for us today (change over of towels and bed linens for o/nite guests and my work clothes) so Im glad that is all caught up!. Ive done all the basic routines today. I did want to have a nana nap but will have to do with an early night tonight.
Hope you all Enjoyed your Weekend!! x x
