Good Morning Girls,
Yesterday I wrote a list of about 7 things & worked on them each for about 15 minutes, I got through the list twice with breaks in between, I got all of my receipts from Oct & Nov reconciled & filed/shredded up to date, so a good day in the end. DH took care of DS mostly, put up some Christmas lights outside & helped cook dinner. I got a better night's sleep except DS woke us up at 4.30am. DH had to leave early for work so I thought since I feel pretty good I'd might as well get up & get a head start on the week. Good news is the pain in my shoulder has finally gone.
Sunday To Dos:
morning routine
wash sheets
remake beds wash a load of clothes wash cleaning cloths fold yesterday's washing & put away
rubbish/recycling out bins out to kerb
menu plan write grocery list
clear out fridge
clear out freezer what's for dinner? - sausages, mash & veg
prep kids' foods for school - DD; DS
bake - chocolate cake make yogurt
fill pill box
find script I need
clean & refill coffee pot
plan next week paint my nails
declutter 15 mins - kitchen cabinets
afternoon routine
before bed routine
Gravy: Christmas to do filing - did about 20 min paperwork ironing backlog work on finance folder start on recipes folder start on 2015 goals list
well that looks optimistic
hope to BBL to update, I think I'll hang out in 3s
Wishing you all a happy day

Good Morning Elasti, Medusa and all the Lovely Ladies to come
Up early here too. Bad nights sleep. Wanting to do some research about Magnesium, I heard it helps with sleep. And given my diet in the last 9months, well....maybe it has something to do with it.
I managed a fair bit yesterday. Front garden completely weeded, divided a plant in the backyard into 3 pots, several loads of washing, ironing/folding up to date. DH and I went to see "Interstellar", I give it a solid 3/5stars and called at Bunnings on the way home for more potting mix. Had all 3 of our kids home for dinner (no plus ones) had the Meatloaf I made the other day, everyones favourite. YUM!!!! Even managed to get the Chicken in the marinade last night ready for tonights dinner.
Today is DD16 main dance studio End of Year Concert. (We are heading over to a friends at 9am to have 1hrs practice, crazy I know but it will make them feel more confident and it's better than someone else's idea of arriving an extra 1hr earlier to practice in the open carpark with no cover in 35C heat. DERRR!!!! That won't make them better, it will make the exhausted and sick right before the show. Sometimes people are dumb and they annoy me. ) This is the studio she has danced with for several years and is a student teacher at. Because the 'Troupe' left this studio she will be in many less dances, 8 I think. BUT we will have a 2nd concert to go to next month, which she will only be in 4 or 5 so we aren't forcing the whole family to go to both, a few of us 'dance moms' have booked seats together for the 2nd concert next month, which in itself should be fun.
It's predicted to reach 37C here today. So hopefully most of our day will be spend inside. I do need to drop DD16 off at the concert 1.5hrs before I need to be there so might go have a little look at RIVERS, they have been running some sandals commercials. I won't get too excited, it's rare I find anything at RIVERS and barely ever actually see anything they show in their adds, but you never know I might get lucky. Would like some nice white sandals now I have a pair of white 3/4pants (1st time in FOREVER)
Ok, enough raving on. Wishing you all a Superb Sunday and hope your having a Wonderful Weekend. I think I'll go have a 2nd coffee before it gets too hot to drink it.

Hi Everyone Elasti- wow you did get a lot done yesterday and I hope today was good for you too. Shellie- hope you you had fun at the dance concert. Medusa, are you having unseasonally hot weather or is this usual for you? Last night we had DNiece’s 21st. It was lovely and we had a late night! Today we had my extended family here for lunch. I went to church first but DH wanted to potter around at home. It was a lovely sunny day and we sat outside in the gazebo- nice and relaxed and had L/Os for dinner. I can’t believe how easy it all was. Certainly helps that we are not rushing around trying to get the house and gardens looking nice beforehand like we used to Tomorrow is a work day for me. The DBPs are leaving in the morning and DH is on afternoon shift so i think Ill have time after work to do a bit of ZONE and Christmas preparations
Have a Good Evening/Night!! x x

Hi everyone,
Better late than never. A good day - DH's family came to lunch in honour of DS9's birthday. We're up to 8 kids and 10 adults, but I did a lunch of cold cuts and salad which worked really well - easier than the usual BBQ which I quashed owing to the heat.
Shellie, re magnesium, it can be a good supplement according to what I've read and I take some occasionally for PMS. Only thing to watch I believe is calcium absorption - it's something to do with magnesium absorption affecting calcium absorption. So it might mean taking some calcium or keeping up the dairy as well.
Hope everyone had a good day.

Judy - well, today got up to 45, which is the hottest November temp ever recorded. I am in Penrith NSW. It isn't unusual to get mid to high 30s on and off this time of year

Judy - well, today got up to 45, which is the hottest November temp ever recorded. I am in Penrith NSW. It isn't unusual to get mid to high 30s on and off this time of year We hit a top of 36C today, so nothing compared to what Medusa had. It was still 'face melting' at the concert (away from the coast). Thank goodness the hall has A/C or we would have completely melted. We did have a lovely swim at lunch time. The water was perfect
