Good Morning Lovely Ladies
Yesterday was a very good day. 3hrs gardening (just a little more left to do), beautiful weather, 2 loads of washing dry and 2 very sunburn teens , I picked DMum up after her outing with my brother. They took her to 'high tea' which she enjoyed very much. Then it was home here for dinner with us, all 3 kids and the 3 plus ones, was a nice gathering.
Boast time, I made 3hr Slow Roasted Lamb Shoulder, Jacket Potatoes in foil and Carrots & Parsnips in foil (both cooked in the slow cooker) and steamed pumpkin, asparagus & broccolini. YUM!!!! What a feast. Then a B'Day cake for everyone else and a piece of Dukan Cheesecake for me.
Today I need to buy 3 or 4 more bags of compost and fill in the garden then cover with sugar cane mulch. Another couple of loads of washing and get the ironing up to date. DH will be home at lunch time. Maybe a BBQ dinner is a good idea.
Wishing you all a Superb Sunday and hope your having a Wonderful Weekend.

Good Morning Oh no Shellie, hope your teens recover soon, sun burn is awful Today is church, printing the church newsletter (before the service, so must get DD & DH out the door early ) Then DD wants to do Christmassy stuff this afternoon (well, she wants to do it now, but I said after church). Have ironing that has to be done, but other than that, nothing desperately urgent Have a great day

Forgot to say, thank you for all the warm birthday wishes for DMum85. I passed them on and she thinks you are all very sweet and is grateful I have found such a lovely bunch of friends online, (we both wish you all lived closer).
Thanks Medusa, silly teens. DD16 says it's the 1st sunburn she can ever remember, so that's big brownie points for me. I have been told I didn't reminder to put sunscreen on yesterday. But after almost 17yrs of saying it, I would think it would not have to be mentioned now, I was wrong. Thankfully I pulled them out of the pool for 1/2hr in the shade at some point in the arvo or it could have been worse. Feeling bad about sending a kid home sunburned, but then he is 17 so also should have know better.
Poor DH has had terrible shoulder pain for what seems like years, maybe 2yrs. Well a fortnight ago he got onto a Chiropractor who seems to have helped it heaps, so is no longer in constant pain (only on certain movements now), so he is able to swing a golf club again with feeling like he is tearing his shoulder joint. BUT, he has now done something to his lower back, probs just pulled a muscle, but of course still had to play golf yesterday. He was crippled up like an 85yr old (well in fact, more than the 85yr old in the room last night). So I guess he needs to go back to his new Mr FixIt this week. And I guess he won't be putting up the gutter lights today.
Ok, heading out the door to Bunnings. I want to get this extra compost and get that garden finished off this morning so I can move onto "Christasifying" this house.
Have a great day xoxo

Hi Everyone Elasti~groan~that’s a sleep in? You’ve done a lot today! Medusa, I bet DD is loving all the Christmasssy stuff. She is at that perfect age for it. Shellie-your dinner sounded wonderful. You’re so good not even eating B’cake! I hope DHs pain is fixed completely soon! and who knew you were such an accomplished poetess!!! Today DH was asked to speak at a church not too far away from us where a couple we know go (they were away for the weekend) The 5th sunday of the month (when there is one) they have a breakfast and a casual speaker. The breakfast was really nice (BBQ sausages, eggs and bacon and lovely fruits) The weather was fantastic and the people there were really nice. They even gave him a bottle of wine and me some 'Favorite' chocolates. We also had DHsDGNephews first birthday party so DH and I went to a cafe on the way and had a coffee outside in the sun. The party was good but DH was also on afternoon shift (he went late ) So we left home at 8.30 and I got home at 4pm, had a nap and have done nothing but serve up dinner (which i made last night) The only thing I need to do tonight is ring our DFs in Perth and confirm dates that we will stay with them. Its a bit too warm to do the ironing today but tomorrow i WILL do it!!
Have a Great Evening/Night Lovely Ladies!! x x
