Good Morning Lovely Ladies
What a busy week.....
Thursday - DH helped out and dropped DD16 to school. I headed back to the big (now frantic) shopping Mall to change sizes on DH clothes for Christmas. Home again, quick tidy up, lunch and decisions on dinner then out the door again to visit DMum's for supplies and then to hospital for visit. Home just in time to put my 'apron' on and cook dinner. After all the extra cleaning, walking I have sore muscles in my legs so I just felt like I was dragging around by end of day.
Today - My TODO List
Dressed
Start Daily Routines
Load 1 on line, Load 2 in machine
Take DD16 to school
While out go to fence shop of Solar lights for pool fence (gift for DH)
Call at small shopping center for gift for DD20
Home
See to washing
and continue WHB part 2
Pick DD16 up from school
Drop her to park to see Yr 10 formal kids looking pretty
Pick her up
Home to start dinner prep
Somewhere I would also like to continue decorating for Christmas. We do have both trees up, and DD20 did some on the large TV Unit. but NO window lights yet and there won't be gutter lights this year (DH's shoulder/back issues will prevent that). Carols are on this Sunday and if they aren't up by then, then there is no point (I think) that's when we get the crowds parking in ours and surrounding streets to go to the park. There are still many boxes of shelf ornaments that haven't been opened yet. So hopefully I can make a better start on that today.
On a side note for anyone who didn't see it on my facebook, I won 1st prize in a raffle, $500 worth of Party Lite products (candles and smelly things)
Everything is very pretty. The funny things is, this sort of thing is usually not my 'cup of tea', 1stly I am scared of candles and lighting them (fire risk, we had a fire in our home as a kid, so maybe that's the phobia), 2ndly I have NO sense of smell, nothing, so the fact that these candles smell like 'forrest fruits' or 'orange and spice' or 'fresh cut grass' or whatever are completely lost on me and 3rdly the whole FLYLady clutter thing. So although I am excited to win, DD20 and I think it's a little hilarious that of all people ME the person with the least appreciation of such things gets the win. Oh well, there is nothing wrong with making my home smell nice for the family and visitors, it doesn't have to be ALL ABOUT ME. I just would NEVER of actually spent money on such things. I did however buy a Citronella candle from the party which I though was practical.
Ok time to 'move it move it'
Wishing you all a Fantastic Friday and a Wonderful Weekend ahead.
PS Elasti, thanks so much for the explanation, as you can see I figured it out. Thanks your my new 'goto tech geek'
