Good Morning All, Today DH starts his week off from work, I have to see a lady at DS' school to do some paperwork, then DH wants to go grocery shopping. I might pick up the last couple of Christmas presents I need. After that I'm not sure, I'm in a bit of pain & feel pretty tired atm so I'll have to play it by ear. Wishing you all a happy day

Good Morning Elasti and all the Lovely Ladies to come
Yesterday I spent 3 hrs at DD16's assembly. 3hrs. They really need a lesson in time management, multitasking and organizations over there. Honestly, they couldn't even get their act together when the kid scheduled to lead us in the National Anthem didn't turn up. What did we get, 1 lone kids on a BASS guitar playing it 1 note at a time (mistakes and all). Yet later we had 3 different singing acts who all should know the Anthem (and it was printed in the booklet). Why didn't they get one or all of them to jump in, the crowd would have carried it after the 1st line. But seriously they just couldn't act on their feet like that. That was truly sad rendition. Anyway DD16 made out very well, 3 Principal Awards for Advanced English, Drama and PE (I think it means 2nd in class, or doing very well) and also received a Medal for her contributions to the Premiers Sporting Challenge. The PSC is a directive to get more kids moving, they visit their feed high school and have a round robin of various sports (20mins sessions) to get moving and give it a go. DD16 has developed a Dance Program by herself for our school (as dance was never included)of which the model will now be used NATION WIDE in all schools. It probably won't happen before she leaves school herself, but eventually it will be included in their program of sports and they will follow DD16's choreography (simple routine that even a non dancer can give a go and feel they have 'danced'). Her 'station' on the round robin always proves to be one of the favourites. The teacher spent a good 5mins telling us how great is she. It's nice for her to be recognized in front of the school. She has also spent the last 2 years as the regular sport 'dance teacher' which has been great for her confidence. And has choreographed several performance pieces for in school and representative competitions. Ok. boast over.
Today it's raining. Really set in, not too heavy, just constant I think. So I am home and working indoors. I need to get 2nd half of WHB done. Plus it's time to wrap some presents and take stock. Tomorrow I have another day with DMum, so need to really achieve today.
Wishing you all a Terrific Thursday.
Elasti, I hope your pain subsides quickly and you can cross those errands off your list
