Good Morning Medusa & those to come, Medusa -it's nice to hear that yesterday was a happy day DH is back at work today until Thursday. First thing this morning I have to express post some things at the post office & take mum to the shops for a couple of things. After that I'll do routines & see what else needs doing. I think tomorrow DParents & the kids & I will be out all day visiting some relatives, one is very sick with cancer & it doesn't look like he'll see out the New Year. So I'll need to organise myself, the kids & dinner for tomorrow. wishing you all a lovely day, hope to BBL.

Good Afternoon Girls,
Well that was a busy (and expensive) morning. Went grocery shopping, Christmas plus weekly shop. NOT DOING THAT AGAIN. I usually 'collect' items over weeks leading up to Christmas and don't notice the extra spend, but this year I thought (due to lack of room in my overstocked freezer) that I'd just do it all at once. Bad idea. Plus I still need to go for fresh fruit and veg on Tuesday or Wednesday
Anyway it's done now so I can cross that off the list too.
Medusa, it's always hard when a loved one is absent at Christmas, I am glad though that the rest of the family got together and had a good time.
Elasti, enjoy the shopping with your DMum. I hope it's not too hectic out there.
Think I might go make some LCM (Rice Crispy) Snow Men. (well try at least)
Wishing you a good rest of the day xoxo

Hi Everyone Medusa- I found it really hard to face all those milestones after my DDad dies too, but it does get easier x x Elasti- sorry to hear about your relative with cancer too. It's good of you to visit them at such a busy time! Shellie- WTG Girl! You have done so well and did Dukan a lot better than I did!! - going to all that extra trouble of converting all sorts of recipes. If family members don't notice this Christmas, tell me and I will personally deal with them!! We we had fun staying with out DFs in Perth. I forgot my bathers and they had a new spa connected up while we were there so I did manage to find a pair when we went shopping. We left their house on Sunday morning and then visited another couple who allowed us to leave our car at their house for 3 months. We camped in the forest at a lovely national park with limited facilities, but that's ok as we have everything we need, right down to camping toilet and shower. Today we had a great day but found it hard to find a place to stay - we got turned away as they were filled up (familiar story this time of year ) so we are camped just off the road a bit. It looks like someone has camped there before but I think I will be a bit uncomfortable when it comes to going to bed when there is no one else around at all.- this was one of the things I argues with DH about- being Christmas holidays everything would be pre- booked, Oh well we'll just have to start looking a bit earlier from now on Have a Great Day tomorrow all! X x
