Have a great day

Good Morning Lovely Ladies (for the last time in 2014)
Looking back it's been a pretty good year (everyone survived). We have had our health issues here and in the extended family, but as I say we survived. I am proud of my personal achievements, holding it all together, reaching my goal weight for the year and also working on my anxiety issues that occurred. And all the while keeping my home looking pretty FLY (well most of the time).
I'd like to thank each and everyone of my beautiful loving FLYsista's for all your love, encouragement, laughter and support through out the year. I honestly don't know where I'd be without you.
I wish us all a Happy, Healthy, Safe and Peaceful New Year. May we FLY HIGH in 2015.
Love to all xoxo

Good morning everyone,
I'll just second Shellie's happy new year wishes and my gratitude for your support. I may come and go and occasionally just loiter and read your posts when I don't find time to post myself, but I am so thankful for all your do, dear Flysistas.
Today is a slow day. The kids are very tired after a long day yesterday. DH took them to the beach for the day so they left before breakfast and came back after 10pm. This was brilliant for me as I tidied most of my office when it had been a bomb site since the storm came through and dumped water on the floor desk cupboards and bookshelves. With the family gone, I felt able to pull things out all over the TV room and really give them a good sort. I threw away 3 large bags of rubbish, found some giveaways, and repurposed a lot of knitting wool from projects I would not finish. It's now balled up ready to knit for charity that I do for a Yarn Group.
Ideas please: I have the kids' baptism boxes and have been adding 'treasures' like cards from friends and family and was thinking of adding some of their artwork and memories (like my DD's primary school yearbook). Do you keep a treasure chest for your kids? If so, what sort of box do you use?
So today is a couple of errands this morning, early lunch and rest for the kids (I want to watch Serenity as I had the Firefly series running yesterday for company, which I just love), and tonight we're watching the first Hobbit movie with the big kids. Dinner tonight is pasta, SALAD and garlic bread. I must remember the salad and eat it first or I eat too much of the rest!
Wishing you all a great day!

Hi Everyone Sorry to hear of your loss Elasti, it was good that you could visit before hand. Shellie hope you are all recovered from your sickness too! Of course it wasn't MILs cooking ~cough. Elizabeth, how nice for DH to take the kids for so long. Did you deadlock all the doors lol? Glad you got so much done :)Medusa I'm sure you all enjoyed the zoo We have been without reception for a couple of days and when we did it took so long to download that the id get a notice saying the server had stopped and couldn't reply even tho I read your posts We had a lovely couple of days at an empty campsite at the beach at Shoal Cove. It was so nice we stayed 2 nights. DH caught lots of fish. We have also stayed at wayside stops as most caravan parks and motels are completely booked out. I was expecting to be home Saturday but it's looking as if it might be Sunday as Friday will be over 40 degrees in S.A and the same is expected in Vic on Saturday. i too want to thank you all for your friendship and support again over the last year. I don't always get to post in the mornings on the days I work (esp if DH is home) but know that you all mean a lot to me and I love hearing all your news, 'vents' as well as what's going on in your lives Have a Very Happy 2015 to all who come in here!! X x

Wow - you lot must already be in 2015, right? Still got an hour to go here (waves at all of you from back in 2014).
So, I got my sheets changed and a fair bit of stuff done at work (plenty left to go, as always) and I can check off the final day in a year of productiveness! Thanks once again to Shellie for inviting me and to all the lovely ladies here for setting up such a great forum and always being around with support. Happy New Year to you all!
