Good Morning Everyone
Today DH returns to work. DD and I are going to help Dmum take her dog to the vet and I would like to defrost the freezer
Have a great day

Good morning Medusa and those to come, Today is DSiL's birthday and we're all away on hols together, so it's a big birthday breakfast and I think they're going bowling after that. The kids should love it, though I'm hoping DS4 doesn't get too tired. DH is working which is a pity - flying to Sydney for the day. At least he can fly in and out of the coast. Wishing you all a great day! ?

Hi Everyone Hope your DM’s DDog is ok! Medusa DH and I both return to work today. DH was supposed to have another 2 weeks off but with others away he was asked to return and be upgraded. he’ll be able to take more holidays in 7 weeks We had a lovely day yesterday. DGD was here all day as her dad and DS21 were here working in the shed on DS21s car. DD25 ended up coming over as well and I had a DF turn up in the afternoon and she stayed for dinner and then SHE helped with clean up which got a couple of others involved!! Tonight after work I need to get some flea stuff for DDog and hopefully do some ZONE work, quite a bit of folding and putting away and the ironing
Have a Great Day Everyone

Good Morning Everyone,
DH is back to work today too. My car died -I've organised RACQ to tow it to the mechanics this morning. Yesterday we spent a couple of hours at one aunt & uncle's house for afternoon tea, another aunt & uncle just called - they're coming to visit us for a couple of hours this afternoon. Now that the car is sorted out, I can do some more cross stitch this morning, I'm getting very close to finishing it! It's raining so I've had to put the washing into the dryer, mum has done some ironing for me - I was leaving it for later in the week, I don't need any of it for a few days. Mum & Dad are expecting to leave here tomorrow so I'm hoping to get back into a routine & some space.
Have a lovely day all

Hi, all! Let's see, jobs list: - E-mail practices about locum work - which I can't do yet as I'm waiting for an OK for someone I asked for a reference. Maybe I'll just go ahead using my old references.
- Phone plumber about getting tap changed
- Get kids out for a walk (morning instead of afternoon for a change, so I can also get some rolls or mini-baguettes for lunch)
- Empty house bins/cardboard recycling
- Put sheets in dryer once they're washed (currently washing)
- E-mail a person on a mailing list who needs some advice
- Ironing - got two tops and a pair of trousers to do
- File receipt from yesterday on finances programme
- Get tax return finished and sent
- Set up tax payment
- Read instructions for Excel spreadsheet to figure out how best I can use the programme
- Get DD's packed lunch ready for tomorrow, and DS's dinner money
- Check schoolbags/PE kits are ready for tomorrow
- Do some of the writing I want to do
- Aim to have dinner ready by about 5.50 as it's a book club night
Exercise will have to wait till after I get back as I won't have a chance to shower and don't want to be all sweaty & smelly at the book club! That means I won't have time to do much (apart from walking to park with children, which I suppose is something). I'll try & do Judy's 100 skips if I can.
Okaaaaaay, let's see... I've got an imminent parcel delivery so don't want to be in the middle of a phone call when they arrive. I'll get DD something to eat, then file the receipt and start working on the tax return as those are both things that need my mainframe computer.

OK, the parcel arrived just after I'd posted that. Forgot to add to the list that I need to go through the things I ordered, put them in my bag (it's medical equipment for work), and check the invoice because I'm not sure they deducted the 10% that was meant to have been deducted. I'll save all that for a bit later. Right now, I'll get on with calling the plumber, then probably do the bins after that since they're one of the most important jobs.

Updated list, including a couple of extra things that I'd forgotten I needed to do:
E-mail practices about locum work - which I can't do yet as I'm waiting for an OK for someone I asked for a reference. Maybe I'll just go ahead using my old references. Phone plumber about getting tap changed Get kids out for a walk (morning instead of afternoon for a change, so I can also get some rolls or mini-baguettes for lunch) Empty house bins/cardboard recycling Put sheets in dryer once they're washed (currently washing) Sort out Sim card from phone which isn't working E-mail practice manager about a day's annual leave that I need E-mail holiday club to start on getting places booked for half-term and subsequent E-mail a person on a mailing list who needs some advice Ironing - got two tops and a pair of trousers to do File receipt from yesterday on finances programme Get tax return finished and sent Set up tax payment Read instructions for Excel spreadsheet to figure out how best I can use the programme Get DD's packed lunch ready for tomorrow, and DS's dinner money Check schoolbags/PE kits are ready for tomorrow Do some of the writing I want to do Aim to have dinner ready by about 5.50 as it's a book club night
Oh, well - not too bad for what's meant to be a holiday. About 45 min left before I have to get dinner on, so will get the receipts from yesterday and today filed and start on the tax return.

Finished my tax return (yayyyyyyy!) and submitted it, but haven't set up the tax payment yet as I'm waiting for the page to update in hopes it'll update my amount of tax due on account. Apparently I should check back in 72 hours, so that'll make it Thursday afternoon.
Dinner's on & cooking. I'll see if I can find a few minutes to start on that e-mail. Looking at the list, the only things I didn't do were things I couldn't do because I was waiting for other things to happen, the ironing, and the writing, so it's been a pretty productive day.
