Good Morning All,
WOO! School's back!! (I love them, but whoa no car for half of the holidays has me desperate for time out) DS is back to school today, he's really excited, DD starts back tomorrow, her, not so much. lol DD starting tomorrow is good because she can help me with the mountain of stuff DS has to take on his first day. She's thrilled about that, as you can imagine.
DH had to start work early (4am) so he'll pick up DS from school on his way home. Today I need to pick up a couple of things for DS but I need to ask the teacher about them first. I want need to vacuum the tv room (WHB tomorrow so that'll do for now, it's driving me nuts), finish filling out some forms for DS & declutter a bit in his room while he's out.
Wishing you all a great day

Good Morning Lovely Ladies
WooHoo for 'back to school' Elasti, I hope you get those chores done. How annoying is it, you finally get a day tomorrow with no bored kids under foot and no DH hanging about and your big plan is WHB. Same here for me every time they go back to school. I wish we lived closer, we could take ourselves off to the movies or some retail therapy.
Teachers go back here today, majority (DD17) tomorrow and then the young ones (Yr 7 and Kindergarten) the next day.
How was everyone weekend, our was a little boring to be honest. Weather was great on Sat/Sun but of course on Monday when there was a scheduled free event at the local park it rained NONE STOP ALL DAY. So other than driving Miss Daisy (DD17) to her various social engagements I was just home all day with DH who felt the need to watch the VIKINGS season 1 marathon. There were moments when I got into it, but mostly it was just too much of the same thing, rape and pillage, rape and pillage, on and then have a grubby feast ready to pillage again the next day.
Anyway today I need to pay DMum's Green Slip, book the rego check (hoping our friend can fit me in today), grab a few things at the grocery shop, clean out fridge for bin night. And my basic daily's. It's raining again today and it looks set in for a few days to come so I'm glad I have the washing/ironing up to date.
Ok, time to get a move on, I want to be showered and dressed before I ring DMechanicFriend incase he say, come straight over. (Fingers crossed).
Wishing you a Terrific Tuesday and a Wonderful Week ahead.

Hi Everyone Hope you all had a great day. YAY! for kids going back to school!! Its so nice to get back into routine and have some space to ourselves!! (not that it affects me anymore - but I do remember) Hope stove repairman, car mechanic all came and did their thing! We went to Ocean Grove again on Sunday after church, via a DF who lives on other side of the city. Went to BBQ with a group of people wanting to do a trip to the Simpson dessert in september school holidays- DH is definitely going. Stayed the night and came home via Ballarat to drop off something there. Quite a few kilometers done over the weekend!! Then Monday night a lamb roast with DFs. We were babysitting and brought DGD with us. She stayed the night and DH looked after her as I had to go to work, until her parents came. Then they and DD25 came for dinner tonight. Tomorrow I have to go visit my DM as she is going on a cruise on Thursday. Im so over people and will try and have some nights at home on our own!!
Have a Goodnight All!! x x
