Hi everyone, Yesterday was a better day - better because I focused and did some of the things that needed doing, but also because I journaled and committed to creating some boundaries. Here's hoping I can!
Today I'm helping at school - literacy groups with DS4. Then it's coffee with the prep parents - making an effort to get to know them despite suffering serious third child complacency. Everyone I have met so far has been lovely, so I'm sure I will enjoy coffee.
I cancelled my music lesson in case the weather hit. We're planning a coast trip this weekend but just said to DH we'll cancel that if it isn't safe to drive.
After school DS9 has an appointment at the dentist to get a mouthguard. DD12 is off to Guides in the evening. By then DH and DS4 should be at the beach.
Praying that everyone remains safe and Marcia decides to party somewhere out in the ocean.

Good Morning Everyone
Elizabeth, you have a full day planned, hope that you don't have to cancel your trip to the coast
Today I need to get motivated. Yesterday I didn't get much done, rested which I needed, but am hoping today I can get some things off my to do list

Good Morning Lovely Ladies
Yesterday I finally sorted those Christmas tubs that I've had 'hiding' in the spare room and got them stowed away back on the top shelf of the pantry. Didn't take that long, why did I put it off for 6 weeks? Very happy it's done now.
This morning I got up and put my 'big girl undies on' and went and had a blood test. Fasting Cholesterol. Over now. Another thing I should not have procrastinated about. And I have my appointment made for my PAP smear. Ticking boxes.
Today will be a leisurely one. Quick vac of the living areas, catch up the ironing. Pretty easy dinner. And finish sorting the spare room (pack up sewing cabinet, store my costume from 21st, and maybe even cover the bar stools with clean vinyl so we can use them (it's only been 6months since we bought them, but only about 1 month since DH put them together)
For anyone interested I am doing well and feeling great about the new Dukan 2.0 Diet. It is not so limiting as the original and I am still losing which is the whole point. On the new plan I get fruit 4 days out of 7, bread 3 days out of 7 and even get an 'anything goes' Celebration Meal once a week to help quell any cravings. Not going nuts on the extra's just happy to have a little more variety and something different towards the end of the week.
Anyway, time to get DD17 to school. We are having a driving lesson each morning and afternoon, she's doing really well actually and I am finding myself much less anxious every day
Wishing you all a Fabulous Friday. And anyone in the path of Marcia, stay safe xoxo

Good Morning Girls,
DS is still not feeling great & the weather is so dicey I'm not risking driving out over there anyway. DH has a day off, he's taking DD to school then to the shops for bread & milk & a quiet day planned watching this cyclone unfold.
Wishing you all a safe day x

Hi Everyone What a bright, cheery pic Elasti! Hope you and Elizabeth are safe from Cyclones! I too would stay home for a quiet day in-How I would love a quiet day home alone!!! and I hope you are able to have a fun weekend at the coast Elizabeth. Medusa- yes having sickies or even just having DD and DH home tends to mean a ‘less than tidy’ home. Shellie- sounds like you are doing very well. I used to hate having to teach the DC to drive but DH was never around when they needed to go somewhere. Sounds like the Dukan2 is working well for you. I will try it when the DBPs have left. Meanwhile I seem to be loosing weight by just not eating chocolate, lollies. biscuits or drinking alcohol- whoda thought?? Last night I again picked up DGD after work as DSiL wanted to go to a mates to organize a 4WD weekend and DD30 was working. DGD stayed the night and slept in til 7.15 which i thought was reasonable. I washed, dried and straightened my hair and then went to the mall with her and the DBackpackers. They stayed and will catch a bus home. DGD and I went to a playground for a while and then home for lunch and bed. When I asked her why she was cranky she said “I’m not cranky..just crying” She went straight to sleep at 1pm so I guess that says it all Ive hung out the DBPs washing and put my work clothes on to wash. Ill do a dark load as well. I do have to do some ironing as DH wore the same shirt to work as he did yesterday (I’m sure there are others in his cupboard but I haven’t checked ) Anyway i bought him 3 more but dont want to iron them until he’s tried them on. I do need to pop into the shops later when DGD has gone or tomorrow morning. Tomorrow night is my DFsDDs21st and I need to get a card and a few other things. Dinner tonight is a vegetable slice/pie thingy and ill be able to sneak in lots of veggies from our garden. It is going berserk! Tomatoes, zucchini, cucumber, eggplant, capsicum, corn and beans. The pumpkin won’t be long
Hope you all are Having a Great Friday!! x x
