Hi there! I was feeling guilty about not having been around, but it looks as though nobody else has either, so I feel less guilty. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Anyway, to cut an extremely long story short, I have actually been getting some stuff done in the past few days, but I have so much still to do that my brain is feeling scrambled. So I'll try and post a to-do list of my priorities for today. - Reboot laundry (got the towels to put in the dryer and two more loads of laundry to go through)
- Have lunch
- Get kids out for a walk - hopefully to hairdresser as DD could certainly use a haircut
- Answer some e-mails
- 15 mins working on my desk jobs
- 15 mins working on my appraisal paperwork (yup, it's that time of the year again. Yes, I left it all to the last minute. Yes, this was after vowing I wouldn't leave it all till the last minute again.
) - Wash down countertops in kitchen, plus worst bits of dining room table
- Clear coffee tables in living room
- Check appointments list for tomorrow, and do other work stuff if any there to do
- Shower
- Dinner
Doable, right? Anyway, at least it looks more doable when it's written down instead of madly circling the insides of my head. Catch you later!

So, results at close of play: All three loads of laundry washed, second load currently in dryer Packed lunches done for tomorrow and swimming kits ready for children’s holiday club (forgot that one completely on to-do list) Got kids out for a walk. Couldn’t get DD’s hair cut as turns out person who does female haircuts doesn’t work Thursdays (dammit, could have taken her Mon if I’d realised) but took them to park, so at least I know they’ve had some exercise. Answered main e-mail I need to Cleaned off a couple of sections of counter top. Still more to do, but am very pleased with what I did get done as a day’s work. (Turns out that when I stop fretting over the size of the job and actually get on with doing some of it, things actually look quite a bit better. Who knew? ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) ) Oh, and got dining room table spillage cleaned up. Went through the paperwork on the messiest of the coffee tables and found what I could just dump straight in recycling. The rest is now dumped on my desk awaiting proper sorting. Hey, it’s progress, right? ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Did the work stuff Had my shower Also, other things I did today (already done before posting that to-do list): Went through shelves on Argos website, figured out which one I want to order for children’s room, ordered it Shifted things around in children’s bedroom to make enough space for it, and vacuumed that bit of floor (amazing how good it feels to have one corner of the room that looks good, even though the rest of it’s still a tip) Vacuumed upstairs bathroom, since I had the vacuum up there anyway Did a half-credit of CPD ready for my appraisal, and finished off some pending stuff to the tune of one more credit Pretty good for a day’s work. I’m pleased with that lot. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
