(Well it's not actually morning anymore) Good Afternoon Lovely Ladies
Happy Saturday to you all.
Busy morning for me. Up, bed made and into workout gear and out for a 1hr walk around the lake, bit foggy this morning. Load 1 washed and on the line, Load 2 in, Load 3 sorted. 2 baskets of folding done, and 1 basket of towels waiting for DD16 to do.
I have tried a new Dukan recipe (Flat Bread - will post in recipes) and it worked out great. There are a variety of ways to use it so I'll keep trying with it. I think if I make it smaller and thicker it will rise and make a pocket bread, smaller thinner rounds and it will make 'crackers' (it went quite crunchy).
DD16 has just cleaned out her small fish tank and doesn't want more, so I'm thinking about making a terrarium. I will have to google how to? of course . DS21 has popped by and left his car here and gone to golf via his usual lift. He will drive DH home (DH isn't actually drinking these days but is very tired). DS21 and his GF are coming for dinner tonight. What's for Dinner" Homemade Meatloaf with BBQ Sauce. (I will make a smaller Dukan Friendly one for DH and I and have Cauliflower Mash instead of Potato Mash.
The rest of the day.....sort through this washing, get it done and folded/ironed/away. Make up single bed in spare room (I've had to wash some things up for it) and get doona down and put in cover. Make Meatloaf and BBQ Sauce (before IGA closes incase I don't have all ingredients). Watch an Ep or 2 of How I Met Your Mother.
Wishing you all a Super Saturday and a Wonderful Weekend.

Hi EveryoneShellie- That Dukan flat bread sounds yummy. You are doing so well and putting a lot of time and effort into this. Go You! Medusa-sounds like you are having a fun, balanced day! I have been extremely lazy today, had a long sleep in and then an hour and a half phone call with my DSis. Ive sat and read a book all afternoon Ive done 3 small loads of washing that Ive hung/put in dryer, made bed, watered front plants, feed animals and cleaned mould (not that its all gone ) from ensuite walls. I’ve also lit our wood fire. DH is on an early afternoon shift. I still want to fold 2 small loads of folding, put soup that DH made into freezer containers for lunches and dust the whole house before sitting down (again!) in front of TV to watch footy or one of my shows and knitting. Tomorrow Im hoping to watch my DSsDGF compete at a horse jumping event although they haven’t as yet let me know what time it is. If its in the afternoon ill go to church first otherwise ill skip church. I also need to do a little grocery shopping.
Have a Goodnight!! x x

Hi there! Well done, Shellie - sounds like you got loads done! Good to see another 'How I Met Your Mother' fan - what series are you up to in Australia?
I guess your day will be ending now, but mine's still beginning and it's time I made it a good one. Here's my list of things to work on for the day:
Blog post 2 e-mails from mailing list I'm on to answer CPD modules E-learning modules for work Booking forms to fill out for children's holiday club Reconcile credit card statement
I think those are the main ones - might think of more as I go along. The ironing still needs doing so I'll do that if I get a chance. Oh, and I just remembered I need to catch up on some laundry, so today will be a good day to do that as well. And do DD's spellings, and take DS to buy new plimsolls and a school sweatshirt.
OK - I'll go get the children's laundry into the washing machine, then do 10 mins on the blog post, then pick something else on the list to do for a bit and alternate back and forth between 10-min bursts on the blog post & doing other things. Right - that sounds like a plan so I'll get to it. Hope today was a good one for all of you!

Hi Sarah, yes our day is coming to and end (thank goodness) I'm exhausted. I need to sleep more, but then again who doesn't.
Yes I had a busy morning and it continued in the arvo too. Got lots done and cooked up a storm for dinner. Going to bed with my sink nice and shiny
I think I'm watching Season 7 of HIMYM. I got it on DVD for my birthday.
Wishing you a Super Saturday Sarah and a Wonderful Weekend.

Well, here's my day so far:
Children's laundry through the washer & into the dryer Read one of the articles I needed to read as background for the blog post (got a few more to go) Did two of the e-learning modules, which brings my total to 10/15, if I've counted correctly
OK, time to keep going... I definitely need fresh air & so does DS, so I'll take him to the shops shortly. I'll wait till DS has finished watching the football.
