Good Morning Lovely Ladies
Yesterday was a good FLYing day. Got straight through WHB (except mopping which I don't do weekly, I spot clean if something gets spilled), 'Load a Day' - washed and dried (not folded), washed DD16's dance costumes (finally), bought DD16's gumboots and did a snatch and grab grocery shop to get us through and bought some storage tubs to organize DS21's wardrobe better. Had all 3 kids home for dinner, over catered AGAIN so sent DS21 home with some Shepherds Pie for leftovers. Shined my sink and washed out Drinks Fridge. Oh and I was even 'Dressed to lace up shoes' while I did the WHB and a 20min walk on the treadmill. Foot felt better in shoes until treadmill, no incline possible at this stage, too much extension on the heel, but hopefully I am onto something to help it heal.
So today I have a lovely clean home which I might mop through with the steam mop. It's raining so any 'Load a Day' will need to be hung indoors. I 'could' clean out food fridge if I get a spurt of energy or I 'could' finish tidying up the laundry. I 'could' also start on DS21's wardrobe, or I 'could' hit all the hot spot fires that have broken out in various places and DMum thinks I 'should' go and do her banking and groceries. I just need to work out which I am most motivated to do. DD16 finishes school at 12.30 today (seniors don't do sport) and then is going away for a long weekend with her GF and family camping. And of course it looks like rain all weekend.
Ok, time to get a wriggle on, morning slips away quickly. I am going to hit the MR hard this morning (on work days things get missed), then see where my day takes me.
Wishing you all a Terrific Thursday (smile the weekend is almost here)
Elasti, I glad the dentist wasn't as bad as you imagined, dentists from years ago have a lot to answer for when it comes to scaring children.
Judy, you sound a little like me swapping and changing your plans (to walk) because of DH. We shouldn't do it. I hope your work day goes quickly.
Elizabeth, sounds like you are finding some balance between work, home, kids and self. Good for you. We all need to find this balance.
Medusa, you've had a few busy days, I hope DD is back to her old self and you get some 'me' time today.
SYS, where are you girl? Did you head up for that birthday or are you busy with work? Miss ya. I've got the spare room already for next time you need a weekend 'getaway'
Jilly, I read on facebook that your DMum and DDad are back safely from their visit, I bet your glad to have them home
And to anyone I may have missed, I hope your FLYing high and things are going well. xoxo
