Good Morning Lovely Ladies
I hope your weekend is going great. I had a pretty good day yesterday. Exercised some, got some washing done (weather improved), had DD19 and DS21 home for dinner.
I'll be back later when I have a plan

Thanks for starting the thread early, Shellie - sorry that I didn't manage to post before now! Oh - I saw your question in the other thread about where I was from - I actually live in the UK, in the south-west of England. Good luck with your kitchen inferno & other jobs, Elizabeth!
I did get my e-mails done in the end - made pretty heavy weather of them, so those plus a fair bit of browsing the 'Net took up more of my day than they should have. But they're done, which is good. Did some stuff with the kids - went out to the park with them and helped DD put together her Lego set. Oh, yes, and did her spellings with her for homework. Dealt with the Hot Spot that was starting to accumulate on my desk - had managed to catch that one reasonably early so it didn't take too long. And 10 mins on the exercise bike. That's pretty much my day.
I think I'll log onto the work computer and get a bit of stuff done, then go shower & get to bed before it gets too late - clocks go forward tonight so that's an hour less of the weekend, which is annoying!

OK, that wasn't too bad - got results and incoming mail checked, two letters done... um, I think that leaves two more letters, a form, two prescription requests, and checking my patients for Monday. With any luck I might be able to get that done tomorrow (still on Sat where I am). OK - time for bed before I fall asleep on the sofa! Hope everyone over there has had a great morning.

Hello again Lovely Ladies
I had a little sleep in this morning, then up Load A Day on the line, chat to DMum, 30mins treadmill (foot hurts less on treadmill), showered now.
DD19 and I need to go shopping. Need a few groceries and DD19 needs to do something about her glasses that just broke this morning. Frame snapped. Just checked SpecSaver webite and it says there is a 2yr guarantee. I hope they honour it. In 11 yrs of wear glasses DD has never broken them so I don't know the protocol. And we can't find her old pair. I know we donated a bunch not too long ago but we both didn't think we'd put the newest old ones in. We have the newest old sunnies but not the clear ones. Oh well she will have to muddle through.
Other than the shopping trip, I have 3 baskets of folding to catch up on. A small pile of ironing. Lunch and Dinner will hopefully be Steak on the BBQ ala DH with some salad and L/O Roast Pumpkin. Anything else will be gravy.
Wishing you a Superb Sunday and hope your having a Wonderful Weekend.

Good Morning Girls, Shellie - I would think if you have your receipt for DD's glasses they'll honour their guarantee.Elizabeth & Sarah - I hope you achieve everything you want to today
I was up at 6 when DH left for work, DD is either being dropped home or I have to pick her up later from a sleepover (not sure yet, waiting for a text from the mum)
So far this morning I have...TA DAs-
washed all the sheets, remade all the beds, one load dried, made a batch of chocolate muffins, made a teacake & cleaned up kitchen after, refilled pill box, done all DS' feeds & whatnot, made sandwiches for DD's school lunches, pureed foods for DS' school lunches, cleared out the fridge, PUPAered, washed a 2nd load, S&S x2, stacked & run the dishwasher, ate breakfast & meds, checked out what's on my calendar next week (I'm out everyday except Fri with appointments)
still to do-
put together the stuff I need for my appointment & other errands tmrw, reboot laundry probably twice, empty & restack dishwasher, change DS' mik-key button water, put out the rubbish & the bins, prep kids lunches for tmrw, cook roast chicken for dinner, fold & iron like a boss, :Pcharge/change DS feed pump, take meds & shine the sink.
Day 9 of shining my sink.
Enjoy your afternoon all
EDIT: Hi all, I just need to serve up dinner & finish off those couple of things in my BBR. I'm happy with that. Now why can't I bring my A game like this everyday??!

Hi Shellie, Drsarah, Elizabeth and Elasti
I dropped DMum & Nana to the airport this morning, I had to get up before dawn to get them there in time, now home. I missed church, and now DH and DD are at a picnic.
DD slept for an hour yesterday afternoon, which surprised me, she hasn't slept during the day since she was 18 months. But she is good today, so hopefully she is fully recovered from her illnesses
Have a great day

Hi Again,
All good with the glasses, in fact even better than I was hoping. They took the try-on frames off the display and put her lens in them, then have ordered new frames which should take less than a week. Then they will put her lens into new frames. All under guarantee. Gotta Love SpecSavers

Great, Shellie! I know our local Specsavers are really helpful, so good to know it's the same the world round. Doing OK so far - finished putting away the children's laundry, looked at the patient list for tomorrow, and updated two prescription requests. OK, that leaves me with two letters and a form to do, plus one set of notes to write up that I'd forgotten about. That's not too bad. Hope everyone else had a happy and productive weekend - catch you later.

Had a lovely day visiting my mother for Mothers' Day - delicious lunch, and cards and chocolates from the kids!
I just found out I can access the e-learning modules on my phone, which will open up a stack of extra opportunities for me to work on them in slack moments. Got four more sections of the next module done on the trip down and back. Just finished a fifth section, but I'm so tired I'm falling asleep at the computer so time to leave be. I'm going to exercise, put away the last of the laundry, shower, and get to bed. See you all tomorrow!
