Good Morning Lovely Ladies
I am up very early this morning, not sleeping well the last few nights. I have an issue weighing heavy on me at the moment, nothing life changing, just an attitude from someone close isn't sitting right with me. I need to address it, but I don't think it's going to be pretty. It's a Mars V's Venus issue (if that makes sense to anyone but me).
So today is DH Day off. Not sure what we have planned, I suppose something will present itself. DD16 is on school holidays for the next 2 weeks. DD16 has Uni exam today and major assignment due Thursday, so all we are seeing of her at the moment is her closed bedroom door and when she surfaces to refuel. Poor Uni students, they do nothing for 3 months over Summer then get all this work heaped upon them over the semester. Seems to me they'd be better off with less holidays and more Uni time.
I have made contact with a few ladies via FLYLadies facebook page, who were inquiring about FLYLady's Forum, and invited them to join. I know we will all make them feel welcome.
All in All my home is looking pretty FLY, I guess that's what happens when I can't settle and relax (issue weighing heavy and all). So I guess I'll just keep fluttering along and make the best of the nervous energy I have to burn. Like all things, this too shall pass.
Ok, going to finish my coffee and see what I can press on with. Wishing you a Marvelous Monday and a Wonderful Week Flying together.

Hooray! I finally did the pending e-learning module and, while there's still supposedly one more to do, it isn't available as supposedly being updated. So, until and unless the CQC finally gets that one sorted out, I can officially cross 'e-learning modules' off my to-do list! Feels good to have one less thing. Also replied to some e-mails on a mailing list I'm on, and wrote that forum post on vaccination (which took quite a bit of reading and research, but it was interesting stuff). Let's see - priorities for Monday are going to be: - Catch up on work stuff
- Get an educational module done (getting way behind on those and need to get going)
- Change sheets on children's beds (hate to think how long it's been since that was done)
- Get kids out for a walk and run a couple of errands while I'm at it
Other things to do, lower priority:
- Make banana bread (unless DD actually decides to eat the bananas she insisted I buy but now isn't eating and which thus need using up)
- Declutter broom cupboard (latest thing on the Declutter 52 Things project on the Organised Housewife blog)
- Do some of the reading for mailing list
- Get a bit of decluttering done in the study
I'll probably think of something I've forgotten, but that'll do for now. Happy FLYing to all of you! Jilly, I live in the UK (in England) so I'm always twelve hours behind you guys, which is awkward with the threads - I've gotten into the habit of posting my evening updates to the next morning's thread (as I'm doing now). Shellie, hope things get sorted out - and good news about you inviting the other ladies here, the more the merrier! Best wishes to you all.

Hi Everyone jilly-hope you and Ant are feeling better today. Medusa-enjoy your gardening day. Already cleaned up after the party? Sorry to hear you're having some problems Shellie - you're right, probably needs to be addressed and you can then move on and sleep! I also messaged a couple of Aussie gals on FLYladies FB but didn't know how to invite them here. I can't often find this forum on my work computer as FB is blocked We had a quiet weekend as DH had to work. Last night we babysat GDGD1 (gorgeous darling granddaughter) but her parents came very late, ate our l/o cheesecake and we got to bed at 1 am. I just couldn't sleep in this morning Today is a bonus day off work for me. I do have to work Wednesday but no GDGD today. I don't really know what to do.. bathe DDog?..wash car?...paint spare room?....go to fancy dress shop again and see if weekday staff are more helpful? i will do my ironing and watch Pride and Prejudiced for book club - I'm not going to attempt the book. ZONE is bathroom and guest room and as our DBackPackers are leaving today I will wash the towels, bedding and clean the ensuite in guest room. Our main bathroom doesn't need more than a thorough wipe down. So today...
get out of bed, wash, dress and make myself presentable for the day, make bed, towels onto wash, make breakfast smoothie, empty dw, restack last nights dishes, decide what's for dinner and take out meat to defrost, empty recycling, feed chooks, collect eggs, towels in dryer, sheets onto wash, set up ironing board....
have a coffee, ring DH, ring DF, ring DSis ...then decide what else to do… ironing, go to costume shop, go to post office- anti procrastination task Wipe out bathroom/toilet/laundry, dust walls, ceiling corners in ZONE, Hang out sheets, bring in dry washing from yesterday, fold and put away, knit 10 rows prepare dinner, feed DDog, dinner, dishes, lunch and clothes ready for tomorrow knit and watch my program or P&P if I didn't while ironing
Hope you all Have a Great Day- ill bbl to cross off list and see how you all are doing x x

Hi Drsarah- we posted at the same time. Great that you can cross off some of your to- do lists as well as spend time with your kids while they're on school holidays. Are you a GP? You do seem to have the time difference with us worked out. Have a goodnight! X

Hi Jilly, I hope you and Ant are feeling better soon.
Hi Shellie, ((((Hugs)))) for your M vs V issue. Always hard having a discussion when the other party is simply unlikely to 'get it'! Good luck so that it's not residing in your head space too much longer.
Hi Medusa, Caught up on FB this morning and saw your picture. Have no idea where your screen name came from! Lovely pic. Hope you have a nice time gardening.
Hi DrSarah, Love the focus for your To Do list and the prioritisation. I think your evening rather than morning posting works a treat and lovely 'seeing' you here.
Hi Judy, Love "GDGD1" - a very apt title no doubt! How did the DBackPackers go? Did you get those jobs done? Hope you can do a bit of R&R too, today, especially given it's a bonus day off.
Hi everyone,
I've moved so quickly from being ill to being "hormonally enhanced" as my DGf would say. So I'm keeping up on the fluids and panadol to get rid of the lingering effects of gastro bug and upping the Vit B, Multi, Fibre, and calm meditative thoughts. I know I would be a very powerful woman if I could channel this Grrrrr positively! Now, just trying not to bite the heads off my DKids when they ask me for the 10th time why they can't have their iPads yet. I just keep repeating calmly aiming for a Mona Lisa smile, "It's time to play outside."
So, today...
Blessings MR - done Breakfast & Vitamins - done Basic kitchen clean up after breakfast - done Desk clean and clear - done
15mins kitchen - wipe stove and clear bench hotspot 15mins dining room - clear and clean dining table - table cloth & centrepiece
What's for dinner? Pasta, salad and garlic bread
Appointments 11am take kids to the movies - meeting friends at 12noon, but will want a little time before so I'm not rushed Return overdue library books
Work Goal - bill 2 hours main lit job - next update due Wednesday

Yes it will... perhaps it is time to deal with it head on. Big hugs to you Shellie xx

Back again.
Message delivered. Message received. Bigger in my mind in than in his. Was receptive to what I had to say and issue to be resolved. Sorry about being so cryptic
Judy, I messaged the ladies and sent a friend request so I could then invite them to FLYgals. From there they can use the link to either Chatzy or Dream to Clean. We have to friend them 1st as FLYgals is a closed group.
