I feels like this pic was created just for our DCat (in the wee small hours)
Good Morning Jilly and all the Lovely Ladies to come
Happy Easter Everyone. Jilly thanks for posting your pic, I could not have found a better one, it's lovely.
Yesterday we had a mammoth trip to a very big shopping Mall (about 45mins away). We shopped for DD19's Birthday (this week) and both girls go some winter clothes too (they are getting those ones for Easter). We left home at 9.30am and didn't get back until 5.30pm...WOW!!!! We had a nice lunch at Hogs Breath while we were there. And DD16's GF seemed to have a fun day too and got herself a few bargains. We did get so many bargains. It's good timing at the moment. All winter stock is in, and all summer stock is selling out, best of both worlds. I resisted buying for myself as I want to get to my goal weight before I go nuts in the shops (still a long way to go). I did get myself a couple of cute costume jewelery bracelets just for a treat.
DS21 and his GF came for dinner last night after golf. It was lovely to catch up. They bought some eggs for the girls which was sweet, as the kids have never exchanged eggs before (it's always just been the bunny here). We also had some eggs to give them, DS21 was pretty happy about that, he's a bit of a chocoholic.
Today the bunny is having trouble delivering. Both girls have their bedroom doors closed tight (as DCat was a bit nuts last night, racing from one end of the house and back again). So bunny will have to visit during bathroom breaks lol. For me, I have a few loads of washing (and there are dark clouds everywhere)but the IPhone promises sun all day, and quite a bit of folding backed up too. There is a small pile of ironing too (that I seem to avoid no matter how small). Plus Daily Routines and a run through with the vac. DH is at work this morning, but should be home around lunchtime.
We have never had much of a celebration meal on Easter Sunday like some do. So the plan is Turkey Burgers on Oppsie Bread (trying for 1st time today), then just a normal type dinner. It's always been about the Chocolate for the kids. There are only 2 days of the year that you can have chocolate for breakfast, so they take advantage of that. I did buy a few Hot Cross Buns (for the kids of course), not on DH and my diet. And I just keep telling myself, 'I've had them before, I'll have them again, JUST NOT TODAY', and that seems to be working for the most part.
Anyway, epic post coming to an end. Wishing you all a Safe and Blessed Easter Sunday. And a Safe and Happy Easter Weekend, I hope you enjoy any plans you have with family and friends and I hope the bunny has been good to you and you enjoy those kiddies on their 'sugar highs', sounds like fun lol

Happy Easter everyone!
I hope you had a lovely day whatever you chose to do. DB and DSiL with 2 DNephs and DNiece came over this afternoon and it was lovely. I just don't see them as much as I would like.
The decluttering project is going well and I've rediscovered my enjoyment of doing puzzles. We're checkin the ones we have for complete pieces and some of them were just masses of random pieces from all sorts of puzzles. But it's been fun doing them and restful - you know that concentrating on things that don't really matter.
The holidays have been really good and it's been wonderful to have the kids home, rested and having more family time. I'm also glad that next week is only 3 days.
Hope you all had a happy day.
