Hi there! Doing nicely here - managed to get the last of the routine reviews done at the care home I cover, and another form completed that had been languishing in my inbox. I'll get to the bottom of that thing yet. Not working Thursday, so will draw up the to-do list now: - Exercise
- Catch up on laundry
- Catch up on ironing
- Clean the dryer filter
- Sort out some desk stuff that's starting to build up
- Catch up on any incoming mail
- Go back to April's original to-do list and do some phone calls from it
- Run a couple of errands in town
- Packed lunches ready for Friday
- Write post to book discussion mailing list that I keep meaning to write
- Write replies to a couple of forum posts
- Write notes on the article I just read
- Do another CPD module
And, if all that leaves any time...
- Get started on tax return (ugh - but it won't do itself, so may as well make a dent in it)
- 15 mins more of decluttering study
Happy Thursday to all of you!

Good Morning Jilly, Sarah and all the Lovely Ladies to come
My day didn't turn out quite as I'd planned. There just seemed like there were bodies all over my house, where-ever I went there was someone 'lounging around' or making a new mess. I got through the 1st part of the house (adults areas) and kitchen, then along came 4 kids making their breakfast. As I'd just turned the dishwasher on, no-one could 'clean up' so the mess was left on every kitchen surface until I'd unstacked and restacked the dishwasher much later in the day. I did get some washing done and some Dukan cooking. But that's about it really.
I did take a trip to the local park and meet up with our FLYsista Melissa. She hasn't been on the forums since the old ones, so I've given her the link here. She is very busy with her now almost 3yr old and a dog walking/animal minding business. They have moved to a new home about 40mins from here, but she still travels up regularly. It was nice to catch up and nice to get out of this over crowded house.
Today I will be home alone, well for part of the day at least. So I am hoping to get all the things done that I didn't manage yesterday. I think I will feel in much better mood when I get it all done.
I am also looking forward to school returning next week. And hoping the Uni starts then too. I have always loved the school holidays and time with the kids, but this hols the girls just aren't being good company unless they are doing something of their choosing or costing me money, and I'm just feeling a little overwhelmed by work plus house plus DMum's negativity about EVERYTHING and poor DH just isn't getting a break. He's doing 6 -6 every day, and has only had me or DS21 to help out as our employee is away. Neither DS or I can open up or lock up the shop so it's all on DH shoulders this week, so he is just out on his feet all the time and not his fault but not being great company himself.
Anyway that was all a bit negative. Sorry about that. Time to get my backside into gear. 9.30 will roll around quickly, and I need to take DD16 to dance rehearsal then.
Wishing you all a Terrific Thursday.

Good Morning Jilly, DrSarah, Shellie & Medusa, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO DD20 SHELLIE XO I've been MIA this week, Monday we had 2 lots of visitors at different times for different meals, Tuesday was back to school & I was out with a couple of appointments, yesterday was most of the day at the hospital with DS for more allergy testing, and today DH's car is in at the mechanics & Mum & I will have an early lunch, then go out to my rheumatologist appointment & on to Lincraft for a quick look before school pickups. So lots of bumping along the ground, but definately no real FLYing Although I have been concentrating on shining the sink every night, so that's a plus. I hope everybody has a great day!

Hi girls,
Just to add to the fun I'm having at the moment. I am 'grounded'. DD16 has gone to dance rehearsals, DD20 is out with TNB, DH is at work and DS21 doesn't live here.
But am I free to do as I please? NO!!!!
I get to stay home and wait for a delivery of a wreath for tomorrows ANZAC march for DD16 who offered to be school rep with her friend and of course offered to be here to collect it when the Principal said she'd have it delivered.
And has the Principal actually remembered or order it? These plans were made well over 2 weeks ago. Well only time will tell. MY TIME!!!!! Oh well there is nothing for it but to get stuck in and get this house back to ship shape. I just hope I can hear the knocking on the door over the rev of the vacuum.

Hi All, DD threw up a couple of times this morning, so todays plans have been really skewed..... She is much better this afternoon, managed to get groceries, drop off of laundry & going to chemist done. Just remembered I need to do church newsletter before we go away, so need to finish that next, fold & put away 5 loads of laundry, make up 2 beds..... and the list goes on........ bck to work

And, of course, I forgot: - Emptying the compost bag
- Catching up on work stuff
- Reviewing the patient list for tomorrow
Oh, well - off to a good start, anyway. Emptied the dishwasher, got the kids up & off to school without incident (which is a tricky enough job in itself), changed the towels, did some major laundry rebooting including putting away two loads, cleaned the dryer filter, did my weights routine & ten minutes on the bike, & showered. So, not bad going.
Shellie, hope that parcel didn't take too long to arrive & that the kids get out of your hair! Medusa, hope your DD continues to stay well & the throwing up was just a one-off thing. Everyone else - hope your Thursday has gone well. I'm going to get on with mine by rebooting the laundry again, as it sounds as though the first load of towels have just finished, and then doing a bit of the writing I want to do before going into town. Catch you later!
