Good Morning Jilly and all the Lovely Ladies to come
Same old, same old around here for the long weekend Jilly. DH is working ALL weekend (our employee is away), so he doesn't even get tomorrow arvo off. Poor DH he is so tired, he starts before sunrise and finishes at sunset. We really need to do something about getting a new employee, there just isn't anyone around that would suit the position at the moment.
After such a horrible stormy start to ANZAC day, most Dawn Services went ahead, but many of the 9am Marches were cancelled in the Newcastle/Hunter Valley due to dangerous conditions and taken indoors at clubs and community halls, it started to clear about 1pm and by 4pm there was blue skies and sunshine. Weird weather.
Blue sky and light cloud cover so far today.
Today I'd like to keep up with
'Load a Day', tackle that darn ironing, make a thorough job of Daily Routines, and give the Kitchen a good going over.
I'd also like to pop to the Chemist and look into getting some 'Inner Health Plus' (or similar) after reading up on it and how it can help aid weight loss by replacing the good bacteria. There have been studies done comparing over-weight and normal weight people and the balance of normal stomach bacteria (probiotics) is different between the 2 groups. The theory is that if you have the higher good bacteria it helps digestion (metabolism) and somehow may change the foods you 'crave' and therefore help limit the wrong foods. So anyway I'm going to look into it and give it a go. It can't hurt anyway, and may help. And there are other health benefits to taking probiotics so it won't be a waste.
I will also pop into Grocery Store while I'm up there for a bit of fresh veg for dinner and some salad stuff.
Ok, that's my plan for the day. Wishing you all a Super Saturday and a Wonderful Weekend. xoxo

Hi Jilly, Thanks for opening. Always so pretty.
Hi Shellie, (((Hugs))) and sending positive thoughts for some relief soon. Poor DH.
Hi everyone,
So far had cafe breakfast with the family, which was really nice. DH needs more time with DS4 because he tends to get short tempered expecting a 4 year old to sit still and wait quietly - as if? But it was pleasant and everyone enjoyed their breakfast.
Now DH is off to DS8's soccer match - thankfully a nice early game with DD11 and DS4 in tow. I'm off to a specialist appt to get some results - nothing health wise - just a report for DD for school.
Then it's work amongst home blessings.
Here's the list:
Blessings MR - done PUPA rumpus and clear give aways to spare room to sort 15 mins + on giveaways Folding and PUT AWAY!!!
What's for dinner? Shellie's slow cooker roast chook and veg
Work More reviews Start job applications
Other Homework/learning/reading with DS8 Pack for batto class - I haven't been in ages and need to get my stuff together
Appointments 9am DS8's soccer game 9.30am specialist appt 3.15pm batto class
Wishing you a super Saturday

This is the reason I did not get my WHB done yesterday!! DD29 is now sick with the flu and her DH has organized to go 4wheel driving yesterday. He does so much for DD29 I didn’t want him to miss out so we ended up having GDGD1 from about 9am to 7pm. It was fun, she is gorgeous and i love her to bits but I can’t get much done when she is here. We have lots of age appropriate toys, both old from our kids and new for her, but she just likes to walk/run around our house and pick up things that she can just reach from tables, desks, shelves. She loves to get into my jewelry, I shut our bedroom door but DH was home and DD24 was here too. They were cooking. GDGD1 got some paperwork on the desk i had filled out ready to fax and got a pen and scribbled and poked holes with the pen. She needs constant watching and playing with!! Anyway after a decent, much needed, sleep in I got up and vacuumed and mopped straight away, after DH went out for a while, before coffee and in my pjs haha. It is now done!! I will next shower, dress, wash and dry my hair, make the bed and go to the costume shop before it closes. We have a dress up 40th party tonight- Classic Movies. We are going Great Gastsby style-1920s. I hate dress up parties and especially when i only know the hosts and one other couple that i dont know well and dont even know if they are actually coming B-|Tomorrow we are going to the footy (AFL) straight after church so its a busy weekend- I’m fortunate I have Monday off to recover!! Jilly- you are fantastic still doing regular workouts! Shellie- glad that terrible weather didn’t last long! Poor DH working such long hours! Elizabeth- I have to ask What is a batto class?? How nice to go to a cafe with the family for breakfast!
Hope you Girls All Have a Wonderful Weekend!! x x

Just look at that face. She is divine. You lucky, lucky Nana. I can not believe that this little angel did anything to your paperwork, it must have been someone else. lol

Hi Judy, DGD is just delightful - that gorgeous smile! And so industrious with your papers!!!! Oh dear… Batto class is a traditional Japanese sword art. Has some elements of Kendo, but is not a sport. We mostly use katana - a blunt steel blade (although the teacher has a sharp one - very, very dangerous if we get it wrong), as well as shinai, bamboo like Kendo swords for faster practice (doesn't hurt so much if we get hit) and wooden bokuto for other practice. I used to do a lot of it, but with children/family/work I haven't trained properly in over a year.
