Hi, Jilly! Thursday evening here, and didn't get nearly as much done as I'd hoped for, largely because I was so tired I ended up sleeping for an hour and then having a hard time getting my focus back even after that. I feel a lot better for it, though. Here's what I did get done: - Changed towels & put them through the wash
- Results/incoming mail from work
- Invoice for last month (bother - just realised I didn't e-mail it - oh, well, that'll wait till tomorrow)
- Pension payment sent off for April's earnings
- Accounts updated
- Incoming mail dealt with
- Ironed one pair trousers
- Weights routine/10 mins on bike
- Finished another medical journal that I can now throw out
- Picked up a few things in children's room
- Put out the smouldering Hot Spot on the end of the dining room table and the close-to-bursting-into-flames one on my desk
OK, not too bad even if not as much as I'd hoped. Time to check my patient list for tomorrow & go to bed!

Ooops, thought I'd posted that in yesterday's thread. Oh, well, no problem. Will just post my to-do list here for Friday: - Catch up on more work stuff
- Do an on-line module
- Get more writing done
Which I think is enough to be going on with. See you guys later & wishing you all a good day.

Hi Jilly, DrSarah and those to come,
Long work day yesterday, but satisfying. I think I'm actually more productive when super busy, but have to see my way through the work I've agreed to do and also have that awkward conversation today because the new timesheet is on a lower pay scale even though I'm doing higher level work. I'm hoping it's just an oversight and I'm not going to have to have that even more awkward conversation that after tax they're not quite covering my costs, so I can't really do it!
Today
MR Kids' lunches Kids' breakfasts DS4 packed for swimming lesson and day at DGPs Big kids off to school
Dress for PT Lay out clothes for work Pack for work Quick shower and change after PT for work
Reboot washing from load overnight
Out tonight with DH for our wedding anniversary - 16 years. It's also my DDad's birthday so will be inviting him and Mum over for lunch Sunday, I think.
DCiL is childminding tonight. They're dinner? Steak, sausages, and veg

Good Morning Jilly, DrSarah, Elizabeth & those to come,
I've been on the Elasti-Go-Round again, this week has been crazy with appointments & me just trying to keep up with everything - I'm drowning in paper - halp! and we had DD's 13th birthday in there as well.
Today DH has the day off and we have an appointment with the bank's financial-lender-mobile person, so she's coming here...cue small panic attack... so DH has taken the kids to school for me, saving me an hour & a half so I can get the house looking like people live here. I started yesterday afternoon & have been at it this morning whilst doing my morning routine & DH has helped out by PUTTING AWAY HIS RANDOM STUFF THAT'S BEEN SITTING AROUND FOR WEEKS!!! CUE THE ANGELS SINGING!!
I think these are fairies but whatevs.
So now I'm resting & posting with a coffee & all I need to do now is vacuum & mop the main areas.
Wishing you all a wonderful day dear FLYfriends
on a side note I've successfully shined my sink for 31 days now. I don't feel like it's a habit yet, but it's getting there. slow and steady

Phew! Hadn't realised I was on call this morning - several extra phone calls to deal with. Luckily nothing was too complicated and I only had one visit, which was at the nearby care home I usually deal with - since I had to speak to them anyway about various bits and bobs that worked out quite well, even if I did get hit with dealing with a whole other problem when I walked in there. Anyway, I managed to get the day's stuff done, catch up on the other phone calls I had to do, and grab a few more items out of the inbox to file/read later. I honestly think I'm at the stage where it would take me about 5 - 10 minutes more work max to get to the bottom of that inbox, but I just don't seem to be finding the extra 5 - 10 mins. Still, at least I'm moving in the right direction! My goal this Bank Holiday weekend will be to catch up on the letters I need to do (5 of them, I think) as I'm getting behind on those, but can at least do them by remote login to the computer. Now to summon up energy to go clean out DS's lunchbox and to deal with the smouldering Hot Spot on the stairs before it catches fire. Happy anniversary, Elizabeth, and I hope work sort out the money they should be paying - if not, just remember to be calm & firm dealing with them. Have a great weekend, everybody!
