Good Morning Lovely Ladies
I've had a couple of quiet 'at home days' which have been nice. I did go to the shops yesterday, had to buy DH a BDay pres and do a little grocery shop, it took longer than I had planned (no big surprise there). Didn't need to go to DMum's to grocery shop this week (as we bought out the entire shop last week ) and she was visiting Brother yesterday so I was not required
Today it's pretty overcast with some drizzly rain atm, so work will be pretty quiet I guesss, then I need to take DD16 and her GF to get their 'Colour Run' packs (it's a Fun Run, they get T-Shirt to wear) which is being held on Mothers Day, so that will be fun for them. Other than that, I will just doing my Basic Routines. What's for Dinner? Smoked Salmon Quiche.
Medusa, so sorry to hear about DFIL's condition. It's a horrible horrible disease. Sending you all love and prayers.
Elasti, I hope you are feeling a bit better today and on the road to recovery like DD. Kids do seem to bounce back pretty well don't they.
Elizabeth, I saw you had a FLYby visit here last night. I hope things are going well and you getting things done. Don't forget to breathe.
SYS, hey SYS, where are you girlfriend? We miss you. We need to catch up of the SYS goss. Have you found a house yet? have you moved? have you decluttered DH? Or just packed him in a box to take with you? SYS.........
DD16 has started with the headaches again. I am guessing it's sinus or just darn overtired. She will say goodnight and go to bed, but then I know she's in there texting or on facebook. DS use to be the same with the TV. They shut the bedroom door and just forget about time and everything else. Silly kids. 16 just seems too old for me to have to 'confiscate' a phone overnight, I would like to think she has the good sense to put it on silent and just go to sleep.
Anyway, I've had a nice early start to my day, and feeling pretty well rested, so I should make use of this and get a FLYing start to the day. Wishing you all a Fabulous Friday and a Wonderful Weekend ahead. xoxo

Good Morning Jilly, Elasti and Shellie
Thanks Elasti and Shellie - FIL is having radiation this week & more chemo in a fortnight so they are still fighting, but it is mostly to give him as much time as possible/keep him as comfortable as possible (the radiation is to shrink the tumour in the oseophagus so he can swallow more comfortably)
Today 6yo Niece is coming over to play with DD so it will be an at home day & will hopefully get things done

Hi Everyone Nice pic Jilly! Shellie- Kids nowadays are texting each other late at night and some of my (younger) friends are concerned too. Your DD might even want to sleep but if a friend texts her, she’s going to check her phone- I dont know what the answer is. Too old to take the phone away and its almost like removing an arm!! Have fun at work. Medusa- I too am sorry to hear DFiL is getting worse. Its such a difficult time for all concerned -hugs!! I worked a full day yesterday and didn’t get home (exhausted ) until 7pm. My job is just awful at the moment. I love everyone I work with and one girl got the sack on Wednesday. I understand work has slowed down and it needs to be done but my boss is wanting to change the way things are done and its just not working. He is 72 and has no idea and i think he’s going senile. He’s a very angry, vindictive man and if 2 certain ladies leave i will go too! DH is still on night shift so I can only do quiet things at home today and tomorrow. I desperately need to vacuum. We have a wood fire and there is bark EVERYWHERE and GDGD1 is coming over tonight. The plan is to sweep my wet areas really well and mop them and then vacuum when DH wakes up. DH has made a nice thick soup for dinner I haven’t really kept up my routines this week as I Im soo tired in the late afternoons/evenings. I did my anti-procrastination task and brought my rings to the jewelers to get resized and made a bit thicker again and am having my engagement ring and eternity ring soldered together, my finger feels so bare
So quiet things to do today
At least 2 loads washing, ironing (prob only got about 5 items) empty dw, wash a few things (DH made a DF a lasagna last night) sweep and mop all wet areas, fold dry clothes on clothes horse, decide what Im going to cook tomorrow (DDs are both here for dinner) and buy stuff if necessary, RSVP friends party, ring my Dsis, ring my DSisIL, order DSonIL b’day present ZONE- clean big copper range hood -have dome most of it
water all pot, hanging and indoor plants I will add to this as I see what else needs to be done!
Have a Great Friday Girls!! x x
