It's time to get out and enjoy your family. Plan some Family Fun Time today

Good Morning Medusa and all the Lovely Ladies to come
Yesterday I was out and about with DMum. She had a heart specialist apptmt and got the 'all clear' so that's good. Then we had a coffee and did some groceries. As I took her home we passed a new store I have been waiting to open AMart Furniture, so called in and ordered a new dining suite, buffet, bar stools and nest of tables. I have been saving my Christmas and birthday money for about 5 yrs waiting to find a replacement for the one I have which has been falling apart for 5yrs. All the 'leather' (no it's not) has peeled off the chairs and I have to vac twice a week just to keep on top on the little brown chips on the floor. It sticks and gets traipsed through the whole house. DRIVES ME NUTS!!! I am very happy to replace it. Should be in within the month.
Last night DH and I were 'home alone'. It's pretty rare so we got to have a 'romantic dinner' and then watch the footy together. Footy YES, it was THAT ROMANTIC
Today I got a little sleep in, have fluffed about at bit. Got washing sorted into loads and got 1 started in the machine. Heading now to the treadmill, just need to find something interesting to watch on TV to keep me entertained.
DS21 and 'The Best Man' will be here later to get their lift to golf. Apparantly 'The Best Man' is nervous about seeing me after his stellar job of looking after DH, last weekend, after finding him passed out on the floor. HE SHOULD BE SCARED!!!!!! DS21 will probably just be defiant in his attitude that "Dad didn't want to go to the Dr" and be of the belief that 'he' did nothing wrong, 'he' never does (just ask him). He is a bit of a 'never back down', 'never in the wrong' personality (even if he knows he's wrong, he just won't admit it to anyone else).
Ok, time to 'move it, move it'. Wishing you all a Super Saturday and a Wonderful Weekend.

Hi Everyone Medusa- its hard with sick family members to plan your days. Hope all goes well, you just have to go with the flow. Shellie- I had to lol at your romantic evening. It sounds like our typical friday night. Our book club is doing the movie ‘Chef’ this month so Im determined to have DH go with me to the cinema. How exciting to have new furniture! Yesterday i had a successful shopping trip before my lunch out and bought the jumper I saw in the window, a lovely cream, soft knit cardigan with zipper & hood, another top and a jacket. I should be right for the next 5 weeks of winter I am in Melbourne Then we are off on a camping trip where i won’t need nice clothes and will have to wash them on rocks by creeks I had DGD overnight while DD worked. She was great sleeping from 8pm -7am. We cuddled in my bed for a bit but Ive hardly done anything until now as Ive just put her down for her nap. Tonight the girls (our DHs are away motorbike riding) are going to a fundraiser dinner with Kurdish food?! The tickets say nothing about BYO or if any alcohol is provided or to buy so we are going to my DFs for pre-dinner drinks at 5pm. It made sense for me to bring DGD home just before then. I hope DD29 gets a lot done at her house cause i won’t be able to lol.
SATURDAY
Ta Da dressed, made bed, load washing on, breakfast me & DGD, sink cleared, few things in fridge chucked out, DGD back in bed
To Do
wash a few dishes, feed chooks & collect eggs, text DS20, hang out washing Finish off the ZONE work i started yesterday, make some pumpkin soup (great for work lunches) lunch me & DGD
Go for a walk with DGD in stroller get ready to go out, pack up DGDs stuff drop DGD off at DD and go to DFs and then on to dinner
I dont know what else i will do-probably need to check the veggie garden & hot house while DH is away for 3 days
Hope you all have a Great Weekend!! x x

Hi everyone,
Well I have had a simply lovely day! I did my first aid CPR recertification this morning and was amazed at how good it could be. The girl guides run a course and their instructor was fabulous. Usually I hate these things because the instructors are so boring and so determined to comer things we've already done. I've held a first aid certificate apart from one lapse since I was 12 - yes, things change, but that's what I want to know - the changes! Anyway, the instructor was awesome - pre-test to make sure we all knew the basics, practical - demonstrate on adult, child and infant manikins, defib freddo frog, book word for asthma and anaphylaxis - all done in 2.5 hours - I love this woman!
Then it was balanced with lunch and 5.5hours shopping with DGfs - such lovely girls and new lipstick, jacket and "work" clothes - I'm a new woman.
So kids and DH back tomorrow, so tonight I'm doing blessings - washing, kitchen other "jobs" so tomorrow morning - it's walk the dog and get a coffee then about 3 hours work for the meeting Monday. I'll probably have a bit more to do Sunday night, but feeling pretty good.
Hope you had an ok day Medusa. Still sending thoughts and prayers your way.
May DH have a safe time, Shellie. So proud you scared the best man - hopefully scared some common sense into him!
Sounds like a good weekend, Judy - shopping successes sound beautiful. Not sure I'm quite as back-to-nature as you are with the hand wash on the rocks while camping.
