Good morning Shellie and everyone else to come, hope we slept well.
PREVIOUSLY ON OUR MOVE UPDATE:
Sorry this post's all about me Hope everyone and theirs are happy, healthy and safe.
Latest update on our move:
We've found a house and are going to sign the lease on Monday Yay!!! NO MORE REALESTATE.COM.AU!!!
This past week we viewed another 5 properties, (all up we've viewed or driven past 20 properties) we emailed applications for 2 of them before viewing and were pre-approved for both
Wednesday we decided on the 1 we want, a house fairly similar to our current one and still in our area, so we're happy with that. We have been spoiled in our current place with no rent increase in 5 years so it was a bit of a shock out in the 'real' world.
So the plan is to do the BIG move on 7th June. In the meantime bring whatever we can or don't need in the next 3 weeks by car.
Arvo shift this weekend so before work, - packing, packing, packing, online grocery order and of course basic daily functions.
CURRENTLY:
Picked up the keys yesterday and took some boxes over and had a thorough look thru the place, 10min inspection in wet weather is definitely not enough time All I can say is we were REALLY SPOILED in our current place!!! Shellie I was considering living in your street, but I thought the commute to work would be a bit much BTW Glad DH is ok from his golf trip....boys will be boys Anyhow moving on....it is what it is. Day off work today so the plan is:
Organise Telstra (PLEASE get it right!!!!!!), shine sink from 2 days ago cook dinner this morning, shink sink again, pack up some more, trip to new place and complete 'Entry Condition' report, washing, prep. for work (Wed) and if I've still got energy clean blinds in dining room.
Ok off now for 2nd coffee, dress to shoes and get moving.....Have a great day!

Hi all Medusa- good to hear DD is better. Hope she has a fun day at preschool. Hope you get done all you need to Elasti. Shellie- have fun at work. Another of the girls at my work resigned yesterday so we will be down from 10 this time last year 2 sacked last July, 2 sacked this May and 2 resigned in May. The ones who are left don't want to work more days. We are all part timers and the boss doesn't want to employ more- he's happy we only have 2 receptionists and 2 theatre admin girls. But what happens when a certain employee takes her 2 month holiday?? I feel bad for the others who have to work so much extra to cover me. It was fine when I organised my leave and there were 7 others to help out. Sys - sounds like you are so organised, hope all goes well with your move - and I'm sure there are facilities near Shell that would love to have you work there !! i got up early today thinking I would start work early as I have to leave early to pickup DGD this afternoon as DD29 is working and starts at 5pm, but then I got stuck into a few things and decided I would start normal time. Also, I had a huge huntsman spider in the car yesterday. I've sprayed enough Mortein into it to drown the thing but I get the creeps about it especially when I don't have the evidence that it is actually dead. I cooked up some silver beet from our garden last night and half prepared tonight's dinner. DH did come home and unpack and do his washing so I am feeling pretty organised ATM TUESDAY Ta Da up, washing in dryer and clothes horse, dw ok, sink cleared, breakfast, Happy Birthday message to DF, To Do make bed, shower, dress and makeup, leave for work by 8.15, leave work 3.30, pick up DGD finish preparing dinner, deal with cooked silver beet, small amount folding, bins out to kerb ZONE- damp wipe skirting boards and top of dado boards dinner, dishes, shine sink, DGD bathed, bottle and bed relax with DH Whats for Dinner? Chow mein Enjoy your day Ladies! X x

Good Afternoon Lovely Ladies
Home after a longer day at work than usual. All went well (ish), printer always mucks up as soon as the men leave the shop to go do something else. Printer hates me
On a good note, DH ordered a Pod coffee machine for work which arrived yesterday, so I got to test run the machine today. It wasn't too bad. Not the standard of my 'work morning' takeaway Skim Cap from the Cafe that has now moved too far away, but better than the awful one I bought looking for a replacement Cafe. In their defense I think the mixed up the Skim and the Soy, but still it's a rookie mistake so I won't be going back there again too quickly. I also picked out a few Cafe tables and chairs to put outside the shop, so hoping it will encourage people to hang around and enjoy the scenery. The coffee won't be a 'money maker' per say, but it is just another service we can offer to make people feel welcome and want to stay. Good idea Hubby (and he's not even a coffee drinker). He did enjoy a Hot Chocolate instead and it's all make on powdered Skim Milk as diet allowed. It was the 1st thing I checked out before he bought it. I have been Dukanized, lol.
SYS, a house just went on the market in our street, 2 doors away. As it is the neighbour who (for whatever reason) doesn't speak to me or my kids anymore (but still my hubby ) I won't miss them when they are gone. And would be more than happy to have a 'chatty' neighbour move it. Just a thought. Miss 'seeing' you here. Miss seeing you. xoxo
