Good Morning Lovely Ladies
Well end of another FLYing week together and End of May. How's your year going so far?
For me I am well on my way to my end of 2014 goals. Down 15.6Kgs (wanting 26Kgs gone by Christmas), walking again fairly consistently (4or5/7days) and relatively pain free. I feel I have a good handle on the Diet and it's rules, and I am still 'tweaking' recipes to suit the diet.
Yesterday was a long long long work day. Moments of busy and much longer moments of quiet. Ended up employee had arvo off which I wasn't told about(normally starts at 12 and I high-tail it out of there) so I stayed much much later. DD20 was home to let DD16 in after school, so I think it was about 4.30 when I finally got home. So not much FLYing here yesterday.
Today I could go and pick up my new dining chairs. They are 'flat pack' so need to be put together. We have a house full for dinner tonight, all kids and all with a plus 1 for the 1st time (DD16 is so darn excited) so I could make them all 'make their own chair' before they sit down to dinner. I'm sure I could fit chairs in station wagon as I won't pull a trailer. So need to think on that.
So dinner tonight is for 8, need to decide 'What's for Dinner?", most of my 'big' meals I cook or not Diet recommended, and I refuse to compromise my diet just to feed a bunch of kids. Thinking cap on there too.
Don't think the weather is going to be too great today, so perhaps just a load to hang indoors. House is still pretty ship-shape from Thursday's WHB so just needs a 'Room by Room' PUPA and tidy.
Ok time to get dressed and get my MR underway. It doesn't get done on work days, but I am not behind, I will just jump in where I am.
Wishing you all a Super Saturday. I hope you join in some Family Fun too.

Hi Everyone Shellie- I love that idea of a make your own chair- a lovely family bonding time lol. Have fun with the Wii U Medusa WHEN you’ve finished your housework!! lol I ended up inviting my DM & DSF over for dinner last night as well so there were 7 of us for dinner, I told them it wouldn’t be anything fancy but my DM is such a bad boring cook she thought it was great lol. We went shopping far later than anticipated and DD29 wanted to go to the further big mall so we didn’t get home til DH had prepared all the dinner and started cooking. Of course he thinks i planned it that way. Today DH has 4 guys over (outside in the gazebo) for another sausage making day. One of the guys is a deer hunter and someone else had shot a kangaroo. The butcher we know who is teaching DH his ‘craft’ brought some pig fat as venison is too lean for sausages, Anyway he assures me they are still low fat and i know from last time they are delicious. A smarter woman than me probably wouldn’t have mopped her laundry and toilet floor yesterday but oh well at least its clean dirt and won’t take long to do again Tonight we are going to a fund raising dinner and Ive offered to make carrot cup cakes so thats my plan for today. Id also like to sweep the back porch really well
SATURDAY
Ta Da Slept in sorta, made bed, showered, dressed, opened curtains, washing from yesterday in dryer/clothes horse, another pad on, coffee, chooks fed, eggs collected, coffee/teas for men made. washed last nights dishes
To Do empty both drawers dw, ring my DSis and DSiiL to organize sibling night out-so difficult we are all very social and active in church stuff and they also go to soccer games etc, ring my DS to see what dat suits him for family dinner, make cupcakes. clean up kitchen again (Im sure there’ll be lots of washing up from DH today) sweep back porch, get ready to go out, feed dog,
I hope you all Have a Great Weekend!! x x

Shellie, you're doing great - well done. How satisfying for you! As for me, my year is also going well. I haven't got much decluttering done, which is a shame - but I have got caught up on a ton of work stuff and admin-type home stuff which really needed doing, and that's a massive relief. So I'm very pleased with how things have gone so far. I deliberately didn't set myself concrete goals for the year in the sense of wanting to get X, Y, and Z done - instead, I decided my goal for each individual day would be to use my time effectively in working towards getting my to-do list done, and my goal for the year would be to do this on as many days as possible. So far, I think I've done well at that. Oh, yes - and I've managed exercise sessions with the weights three times a week without fail since the start of the year. Not managed as many sessions on the bike as I'd have liked, but that's largely because it's in the same room with DS's computer and he complains bitterly if I use it when he's trying to play on his computer! So, what's on the agenda for the last day of the fifth month? Already done:- Dishwasher emptied
- Towels taken out of the dryer and stuff from clothes horses put away
- Exercising
Still to do today: - Get DS out for a walk
- Chop the chicken pieces for dinner
- Get kids to bed at end of the day
Goals for the weekend: - Catch up on work stuff (7 referrals/letters to do, plus whatever results/tasks/incoming mail came in in the last part of Friday afternoon after I logged off)
- Get some more educational units done
- Get my desk jobs done
So I'll get started on work stuff, for a start.
