Good morning Jilly and everyone else to come, hope we slept well.
Jilly hope the results are good
Sorry, all about me again
WE'RE IN!!! A COMEDY OF ERRORS THAT WE HOPE TO LAUGH ABOUT IN 6-12MONTHS!!
Last night was our 2nd night in and are currently in chaos with boxes etc all around. DH set up beds, washing machine, tv, office etc and I had the kitchen basics functional last week. Yesterday DH, myself and 2 DFriends started the big clean at our old place and all going well we should have it finished by the end of today not Wednesday like I thought (so that means I can work at our new place for 2 days before going back to work on Thursday)
We went to DFriends for dinner last night (home cooked meal...YUM instead of the take away we've been having the last few days and will have tonight). DH had to go without any shoes.....we couldn't find them lol.
So the plan today:
Off to old place to hopefully finish the big clean with the help of another DFriend. DS22 (His b/day was last Tuesday) arrives home after spending a few days in Sydney (he planned that well.....right in the middle of our move ) DS18 goes back to campus, after surprising us with his presence on Friday. Must get a priority load of washing done Grocery list Continue unpacking
Well that's it for now, off to dress to shoes and get stuck into the day. Have a great one

Hi girls, This is so exciting. Welcome back, Jilly! Sending you all the best for Antony's results. Happy house-warming Sys! I missed you! Had a chuckle about DH without shoes!
Hi everyone,
Slowly getting myself together. I think the last few days were unrealistic expectations. I like my work, but I don't have a good handle on what it is and what is reasonable. DH, for example, rarely checks email at home or responds to work phone calls once he's finished for the day - he generally has excellent boundaries. Now, my work is different - I am part-time and often trying to get it done whenever I can, but have fallen back into that relentless, always hanging over me process. So I need to put some boundaries around it. I haven't been doing much of the longer-term maintenance jobs or gardening and have noticed I'm not sleeping so well. The kids and the house are going ok in general, though, but I'm looking forward to the school holidays.
So today's jobs:
Blessings MR - DONE Fold and put away washing Clear dining table and put on new tablecloth - DONE (looks pretty - found one at Spotlight that is 'spill proof' - can wipe up spills even though it's a polyester cloth that looks and feels like a cloth!)
Work List management tasks for tomorrow - DONE Write mini program section Write multi program section Write R program section
Planning Menu - DONE Programs/appointments for everyone (All mine - DH is overseas for the week) - DONE Contact DGPs for when I have clashes - DONE
For me Shape eyebrows Treat hands

Systems01: Yay! So glad you're moved and, yes, you will laugh about all this one day! Jilly: Good luck with the hospital appointments/results. Elizabeth: As someone who also works part-time and does catching up from home, I quite agree about the boundaries. Good for you for recognising the need to set them. Still 8th June where I am - my birthday, yay! Had a lovely day apart from spilling a whole glass of milk and walking into the top of a low doorframe when we were out (a barn-type building) with some force, which has left me with a good-going egg on my forehead which I feel completely ridiculous about! No great harm done, luckily. But I got loads of lovely books from my wishlist, plus some Amazon vouchers so I could buy stuff for my Kindle, and we had a beautiful day out at a local National Trust site. Off work tomorrow, which makes it the first day in some weeks that I've been home and the kids have been at school and it hasn't been my shopping/taking the rubbish out/cleaning the kitchen floor day, so I'm hoping to actually get some stuff done. List of things: - Finish work stuff (something like 3 letters and 5 incoming letters still to do, plus whatever results have come through tomorrow morning)
- Exercise - weights and 10 mins on bike
- Empty house bins
- Make inroads on desk
- Declutter CDs/DVDs (for weekly task from Organised Housewife)
- 15 mins decluttering in study (for my own challenge - though I could count the CDs/DVDs for that one)
- Make inroads on ironing
- Book dentist's appointment
- Walk into town for some errands
I'll probably think of more stuff but that's enough for now (and probably far more than I'll ever get done). Happy FLYing to everyone!

Good Morning Lovely Ladies
I had a very busy day yesterday. Several loads of washing, couple of cooking projects, DH & I put together our new dining table and buffet (not nearly as much building as the chairs), vacced through whole house to pick up mess from building furniture and DD16's Drama Project. 1hr15mins treadmill. Plus general Daily Routine.
Today I am hoping for an actual 'rest' day, lol. Dressed and ready to start the treadmill, need to grab a couple of groceries. I have a load of towels in the machine and another load of jumpers ready to do. The sun is out and blue sky in every direction (atm).
SYS, I'm sure you will laugh about the move (eventually)
Jilly, hope all Ant's results turn out well
Elizabeth, I am sure you will find the balance.
Happy Birthday Sarah, I hope you've had a lovely day.
