Hi Shellie and those to come,
Also popping in briefly to say, "Hi!" then hope to bbl to post properly.
DDog has a sleepover party for 4 nights with DGf's dog. They are getting along so well, they played most of the night! Hope they settle soon. Also had 'gifts' this morning as DDogFriend is not yet house trained. Just going with the flow. Our visitor is a sweet puppy, though.
Wishing you all a great day!

Hi Everyone Hope you all had a good weekend! How nice you are Elizabeth to look after someones unhousetrained puppy! Well Im at that stage where I’m all packed. DH hasn’t packed his clothes. He is the one to pack the car so theres not a lot i can do. Im trying to do washing and keep up to date with that and tidying up what I can- we have piles and packed tubs and stuff everywhere ready to pack in the car. I have my clothes for Friday’s early start laid out. DH is still getting camping equip sorted. This morning he started getting our old camp oven and cast iron pan black again. This involves heating in oven, covering it in lard, back in oven let cool and do again. I woke to a smokey house and even tho its cold Ive got windows open. Dw is emptied, dishes washed, bed made, sheets from yesterday in dryer so Im hoping if DH cooks dinner I can sew up the dress I knitted for DGD- I laid it against a dress she wore here when staying overnight and looks like it will fit her!! Yay Ok my clocked has chimed 10 o’clock and I need to leave in 20 mins -gotta get in shower!
Have a Great Monday and a Great Week!! x x

Good Morning again
Well DH is at work today, one of our employees is having back surgery so not sure when he will be back (or when DH will actually get a day off again ), recovery time is undetermined at this stage.
DH was off yesterday arvo, but spent the whole time in the Study doing book work. He did come out for 2 meals but it took some coaxing to get him out. I spent the day doing 2hrs 15mins Treadmill and 10mins Elliptical in the morning and then spent the arvo feeling exhausted and barely able to do anything. Did some reading and managed to fix those 2 meals. And DD20 and I took a trip to the DIASO store to pick up some $2.80 bargains (everything in the shop costs $2.80). I got some really sturdy laundry bags (the ones you use for bra's and lacy things in the wash). Had another bad nights sleep last night, can't put my finger on the problem, should be exhausted but I keep waking up all through the night, getting really sick of that.
Today, so far, I have chatted to DMum, taken DD16 to school, had 2 coffees and some yoghurt for breakfast, turned dishwasher on, got some meats out of freezer to do some advanced cooking (marinated chicken thighs and some sort of chicken casserole/stir fry or something with it), vacced 1/2 the house. PUPAed each room before vaccing. Still have a ways to go, so best get back to it. Then I want to get on the treadmill for a while, not the marathon that was yesterdays effort. And then see what else the day brings.
Wishing you all a Marvelous Monday.
Elasti, I hope DD feels better soon. Unfortunately it's that time of year when all sorts of things are going around. I hope you find some structure in your day
Judy, you sound so organized. Well done.
Elizabeth, sleepovers for puppy's (and unhouse-trained one at that), you are one in a million.
Medusa, I hope you get that house back to 'ship-shape', and then take some time for yourself. Not every preschool day should be all about housework. You should be able to enjoy some quiet time or some adult time too.
