Good Morning Girls, I'm up early because DH had to start work early today & let's face it, he's terrible at keeping quiet. It's his last day before 3 weeks holiday starts tomorrow & on Tuesday he is on the same flight with my DParents & taking both the kids with him on a holiday to see relatives & I'm staying AT HOME ALONE BY MYSELF FOR A WEEK. (His idea plus we couldn't afford it) I shouldn't be this excited but I.am.counting.the.days. WOOHOO! NO COOKING, NO CLEANING, NO WASHING, NO STUFF ON THE FLOOR, NO SNORING & NO INTERRUPTIONS. Well, maybe a little cleaning & washing... I'm looking forward to a decent night's sleep and some uninterrupted crafting time, that's all I really want. How sad is that. Anyhoo, today I want to wash sheets, clear out the fridge, put the bins out, pack for DS, washing & ironing up to date & Dparents are due back here this afternoon so I need to decide something for dinner. Wishing you you all a great day

Good Morning Elasti and all the other Lovely Ladies to come
I bet you are super excited Elasti, and I don't blame you. It must be like the 1st time your parents went away and left you home alone. It is perfectly understandable that you are excited, but don't be too shocked if the excitement wears off quicker than you think. Can you organize some outings with friends during the week, it would be great if you could get some grown-up time as well as craft time. Enjoy and stay in touch here.
Today is DD16's Eisteddfod. Haven't seen her yet this morning so only time will tell, she wasn't too chipper yesterday or hungry, so I resorted to buying soft drink, chocolate and lollies to try and get some sugar into her, she had a bit and just kept insisting she 'will be fine' tomorrow. Well it's tomorrow....
Bit of FLYing planned this morning, some treadmill time, then the Eisteddfod this arvo. They are only on stage for 4mins but we have to arrive early, then hang around until the section is over, so it drags on a little. DD16 will want 'out' as soon as she can, then it will be home for relaxing evening.
My goodness it's cold here. They have had snow on the snow fields in Perisher (hours and hours from here) but I can sure feel it in the air. Clear sky, but such a chilly strong wind blowing. BBBRRRRRR
Time to get a move on here, my coffee cup is almost drained. Wishing you all a Superb Sunday and a Wonderful Week ahead.

Have a great time enjoying the quiet Elasti Hope DD's eisteddfod is alright & DD manages
Today, DH is sick. So DD and I went to church, then DD went to my sister's house so I could do a mystery shop. Then do errands for DMum, pick up DD, drop off stuff for DMum, now back home
need to do ironing & water seedlings, but other than that, just a normal afternoon
hope everyone is well

Hi Elasti, YAYY!!! Have a wonderful week!
Hi Shellie, Hope DD felt better and you managed those things you planned, especially that relaxing evening.
Hi Medusa, Hope DH feels better soon and that you stay well.
Hi everyone,
Well, work took over last week, so didn't really post, but I did pop in occasional to catch up on your news.
Off to bed soon, but was getting ready with a little work tonight because it will be a big week. Tomorrow I'm off to work, but then I will be aiming to work from home most of the week with the kids on school hols.
DD is turning 12 on Thursday and I've finished most of her gift shopping. DS8 came with me today and we did some great shopping. He's so patient. I bought DD her first tapestry - a small panda bear. I was a little younger than her when my grandmother taught me tapestry and my grandmother did some amazing ones. So I hope DD will enjoy it and I can pass that down. She's also getting some books, because she is such a reader. I will look at the gifts tomorrow and might add a couple of knick knacks. (I remember she wants a lanyard and maybe some cute hair ties.)
DS8 and DS4 are off on excursions with DGPs tomorrow and Tuesday. Again, I'll try to get as much done as I can on my project while they're out. But DD and I will probably get her hair done and have lunch.
I also want to get the garden sorted and the side fence painted - probably jobs for DS8 and me and some progress on my office - still an amazing clutter-fest!
Anyway, should be a nice week. I love school holidays!
Wishing you a good week too.
