Good Morning Girls, Elizabeth - I did my first tapestry when I was about 11, fell in love with it & went on to do 15-20 more in my teens/early 20's. Then I got married & the wheels fell off my life, but I'm hoping to get back to it soon. I have a cross stitch I was given that I'm doing atm, then I have a wide tapestry of 'The Last Supper' that I'm itching to start. I hope your DD enjoys it & takes it up, it's a wonderful relaxing hobby. Yesterday was a semi productive day, I washed all the sheets & a load of clothes, remade beds, started packing what I could for DS, tried to craft but my mojo wasn't flowing so gave up, PUPAered, got the folding & ironing up to date, cleared out the fridge, did 15 minutes decluttering on the shelves in the study, put all the rubbish out & put the bins out to the kerb & played Sims 3 for a while. Today I'm planning to - finish packing for the people keep the washing & ironing up to date go for a walk do some cross stitch paperwork progress declutter something What's for dinner? Pork chops & veg wishing you all a great day xo

Hi Elasti, You're on a roll! I hope you find some space for your craft. That tapestry sounds beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Hi everyone,
It's school hols, but not too dissimilar to a normal day. I've packed the boys' lunches and they're off on an excursion with DGPs. They have not yet slowed down so from before 7, it's 'can I have my iPad?' (No - standing rule not before 8am! And I generally don't allow in the morning - play time!); 'what's for breakfast?', 'you haven't poured hot drinks yet, mum'; 'the jug's boiled!'; 'there's a drip on my cup!' 'when's breakfast, mum' Grrrrr!!!!! (Note - mum is a two syllable word with a descending whine e.g. maaa - armmm.
So I'm catching a little quiet time before the next onslaught!
[Don't get me wrong - grateful for relatively happy, articulate kids - just feel like their personal slave half the time!]
I am aiming to commit to 15mins decluttering in my office. I tend to make these plans, then feel bad when I don't, but I'm just not making progress in my room at all. So this is my new focus.
Today
Appointments 8.00am breakfast 8.30am dress for work to shoes, hair and makeup 9.15am pick up DGPs and take them and the boys to Southbank 10.00am work 11.00am work meeting
7.00pm pilates
Blessings MR PUPA Remind DH he's on dinner (I did ask nicely yesterday…)
Declutter 15mins!!!!! (looking at the clutter and am thinking to start in one corner and wrap around)
Find fertiliser Dilute and prepare Water and fertilise peace lily
Water front pot plants
For me Moisturise Medicated for hands before bed iPod audio book

Good Morning Lovely Ladies
Today I am taking DD16 to the Dr. After almost a week of upset tummy/headache/muscle soreness Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday/Thursday nausea/vomiting/fever, from Friday her fever broke but still headaches/sore stomach/loss of appetite, last night after a very small dinner she started with a sore throat. Upon in inspection it seems an advanced case of Tonsillitis (but throat only just started hurting, I am guessing everything else was more irritating). So I will be calling as soon as I can for the 1st available appointment.
Now to my exciting news....I am down a total of 21kgs. I feel so happy about it. I am only 5kgs from my 2014 goal and it's only the 30/6/14. I am going to embrace this milestone today, then get started on those last 5kgs. My plan was to reach my goal weight and re-access a new goal. I just assumed that 26kg in 26fortnights was all I could possibly hope for as I had found weight loss so difficult in the past. Who knew the Dukan Diet could be so life changing? I will tell you who knew Elasti and Judy. If it wasn't for those wonderful girls talking about it, explaining it to me and encouraging me to give it a go, and then being my biggest cheerleader in the last 5 months. Well, without them I would still be back where I started. Thank you Elasti and Judy, you are both inspirations and I can never thank you enough for how you have helped change both mine and DH lives and health. SO now to reach that 2014 goal and then give some serious thought to the next goal, at least another 8kg to reach my prep DD16 goal weight. And then re-access from there, setting smaller goals at this stage I think is best. After losing a consistent 1kg per week for 5months, I am guessing it will slow down to a smaller weekly weight loss eventually.
Ok, time to get moving and do something before taking DD16 to the Dr.
Wishing you all a Marvelous Monday and a Wonderful Week ahead. Happy Holidays all.
