Good Morning Lovely Ladies
My goodness it's cold this morning. DH put the throw over me this morning as well as the blanket and doona we slept with all night and I still woke up feeling cold.
Another home day for me today. (And many more to come). Called the Dr last night and it's confirmed, DD16 has Glandular Fever. So we are to expect the unexpected. She should be feeling a little better by the time the school holidays is finished. She could also be still unwell in 2 months. It's a day by day thing. We can only treat the symptoms, there is no treatment for Glandular Fever itself. So Strepsils and cool liquids for the throat. Neurofen for the pain and fever. Dr and said NO MORE Panadol as her liver function is somewhat compromised, he wants to retest it in a month. Panadol is bad for the liver and Glandular Fever puts extra strain on the liver so it's a bad combo. Unfortunately she has been living on Panadol for almost 2 weeks so we have to undo the damage done. The poor kids is so sad. Holidays ruined, feeling so crappy, in pain. And now she is feeling the 'stigma' of Glandular Fever.
So today for me, it's Daily Routines, caring for DD16. Finish off taking the pants in. Did do quite a few yesterday, but still a few to do. I think I will need to use elastic for the cargo pants and might try to get the one that has the button holes in it so I can continue to adjust them. Then I might try and vac through. Oh and I have 6 Azaleas to plant in the garden and 2 pots on the front porch, so hopefully will get to that either today or tomorrow. And of course there is always my treadmill to keep me occupied.
Ok, time to get a move on. I think I will change some sheets today also, most of the washing is up to date so there will be room in the load for sheets. Wishing you all a Fabulous Friday and a Wonderful Weekend ahead.
