Good Morning Girls,
Good day yesterday, I'm almost done with the kids papers. I think it will fit into 1 or 2 boxes for now. I need to keep on sorting in DD's room, she has a LOT of small stuff that needs sifting through (and never throws anything out). When I finish the papers I'll concentrate on that next.
Also today I want to get rid of the rubbish & recycling that's accumulated & give the fridge shelves a good clean since they're pretty empty.
So up & at 'em, first a little workout then get into it. I'm hoping to get a good go at my cross stitch today too. Hoping to BBL
Wishing you all a great day

Good Morning Early Bird (Elasti), so much for sleeping in while you have an empty house.
We are struggling here. Poor DD16 is just a mess. She is in so much pain with her throat that all things are difficult, eating, drinking, talking, sleeping. I am trying everything I can think of to ease it. She is having Neurofen regularly and Strepsils (the numbing ones) and Demazine hoping it helps dry up the mucus a bit, but Dr told us to lay off the Panadol as her Liver function was not great. GF effects both Liver and Spleen as well as the colld/flu and throat symptoms she has. She is feeling hungry but everything just hurts going down. She found it difficult to get to sleep last night but has had a good 6hrs. She has taken more Neurofen now and hopefully back to sleep for awhile. She is physically tired but not always sleepy so she is alert, bored and in pain. A couple of times a day she gets hit by a fever, we are all freezing and in 3 layers of clothing and she is walking around in TShirt and Shorts PJ's, next minute she's under 5 layers of bedding. We are in trouble for having the heating on too high or not high enough, just can not find a happy medium there. All the research says that the throat and the worst of it can last for up to 2 weeks, and then it's a recovery from the fatigue which can linger on for weeks/months after. We are trying to take each day as it comes and looking for any glimpse of improvement. Please let this pass quickly.
FLYing wise things are ok, not fabulous but ok. I am getting a few things done 'around her'. I am feeling over tired myself and making some not so great choices. I am not doing so great with Diet and Exercise. Not looking forward to Weigh In this week.
Ok, time to get something done, even if it is just another coffee and my BP tablet.
Wishing you all a Super Saturday and a Wonderful Weekend oxo.

Oh Shellie - I do hope that things improve with DD16 soon. It's no fun when one of them is sick, please take care of yourself too. I wish I could do something to help.
sending good thoughts & ((hugs)) your way xo

sending good thoughts & ((hugs)) your way xo Thanks Elasti, I know it will pass and I keep telling her it will pass (and that there are worse things) but right now she just can't see it. Drinking plenty of fluids is really the 'best medicine' for GF, but she is struggling so much with it, the last thing she needs is to be dehydrated on top of everything else. I think she has gone back to sleep for now so at least she is not feeling the pain when she is asleep.
I should be taking this opportunity to get something, anything done, but I am just cruising around Facebook and here having a Hot Chocolate this time. I will have to get something done after this.

Hope the virus goes away soon Shellie. The chemist has gastrolyte iceblocks, they are for dehydration & the cool may be easier for her to consume while her throat is so painful DD is being terrible this morning Have nephew's baptism this afternoon, which was unexpected, as his parents are not religious & he is 2.5 years old Anyway Have a good day
