Good morning girls, hope we slept well.
Yesterday I did some cooking for freezing, removed files from filing cabinet in DH's office and put them into mine (share room with DS18) culled some as I filed, filled another box to be scanned and a bag full to be shredded and some laying on floor to be put somewhere that I still want to keep ie: my study books, old medical records & xrays etc. Loads of washing, dealt with Telstra and then a nice long calming chat with Shellie (I tell you it was ESP!!) thank you.
Back to work tomorrow so my plan for today is cook 2 more meals for freezing - Italian Chicken Casserole and Shepherds Pie mixture, tidy up loose ends that I've created over my time off - papers to shred, clear dining table, fold 2 baskets of washing, pay bills, mail, start preparing BAS, prep for work and whatever else may jump at me.
Shellie I promise to be 'nice' to your friend lol. Do you really want use your clean oven??? Hoping today shows more improvement with DD16. Medusa, Elasti, Elizabeth, Judy and everyone else wishing you a great day - packing for snowys, last day alone, work projects and travelling across the countryside.
Ok off for 2nd coffee and think I'll start with some desk stuff for a couple of hours after I start load 1. Have a great day!!

Good Morning Sys and all the Lovely Ladies to come
Didn't make it here yesterday. DH had his 1st full day off in 3 weeks. DD16 seemed to improve a little (although I don't think she would agree - the Nerofen just seemed to be a little more effective yesterday helping with the pain and she was able to tolerate eating better, was up on the couch for much longer).
DH (although it was his day off) had booked a meeting at 12, but called to confirm and had to race off to be there at 9 due to some changes. So I got stuck into washing/treadmill/general PUPAing, etc and said I'd do some groceries while he was home with DD16 after lunch. DD16 fancied some hot chips for lunch so I went out and found some (apparently Fish 'n' Chip shops close around here on a Mondays, thank goodness for the little coffee shop I'd never been into before). I marinated some Chicken for lunch but as I went to put it in I realized the element in the oven had blown. DH got home, wasn't looking forward to raw Chicken for lunch so headed back out to buy the element. He was able to replace it himself no problem but then we decided to clean the oven while it was pulled apart. He has never done it before, so was a little surprised at how long it took. So almost 2hrs later, with NO LUNCH, I went to groceries. Thank goodness for really big coffees. DH cooked the Chicken while I was out, but no one remembered to get the 3 loads of washing in, it was too late for me to bring it in. DD20 came home after a weekend away and of course bought 3 loads of washing home with her. She has sorted it and will do it herself today. So all in all, yesterday was just muddled. I did have a lovely chat with Sys on the phone in the evening, but then that put dinner behind.
Today I am hoping to 'stay on schedule'. I am up and will get into workout gear shortly, put 1st of DD20's washing in for her and get moving on Daily Routines and Treadmill. I still have some sewing to do while the machine is out. The edging has come unstitched off a blanket, so it's not difficult, I just don't like sewing. Plus I will check out the rest of my jeans. I have done the favoured ones, but I have a few pairs in brown tones that I may want to wear again. Then I have a bunch of bra's to fix, underwire is escaping and I don't want to replace bras for this size so a repair job will have to do. Dinner will be 'anything that DD16's heart desires, plus L/O Diet Friendly Chicken Stroganoff for DH and I.
Elasti, I think you might be down to your final day. Please please do something for yourself today. Enjoy the time you have and don't look back and say you spent the entire week decluttering and tidying. I wish we were closer and could get together for coffee and lunch. xoxo
Ok, time to get a move on. Wishing you all a Terrific Tuesday and a Wonderful Flying Week together.xoxo

Good Morning Systems, Shellie, Medusa & those to come,
Sys - good on you for working through things, slow & steady wins the race
Shellie - I hope that DD16 continues to improve. I will definitely do something for me today.
Medusa enjoy your shopping today
A little reflection - it's been a wonderful week, LOTS of quiet time to clear my head, lots of not having to care about anyone's needs but my own, (I DID NOT know how much that was stressing me), very little cooking & therefore very little kitchen cleaning (Hallelujah - imagine angels singing ), I've listened to more music in the last week than I have in the last 6 months. I forgot how much I love my music. I've watched a lot of movies/you tube crafting videos/caught up on TV episodes from as far back as February (another favourite thing of mine is movies), did a bit of work around the house that was weighing on my mind & paddled with my arts. Originally I had plans to clean the whole house top to bottom in a week. I'm so glad I didn't. It's been refreshing and I needed to be on my own for a while and that's changed my perspective on a few things, mostly what I think about myself & how I treat myself. I've been thinking about how I'm going to do things differently going forward from here.
Now it's my last day I'm going to do a bit more decluttering in DD's room, PUPA DS' room (he went through his toy box like a cyclone when he was 'packing' the toys that he wanted to take on holiday.) Clean the oven or at least attempt to get it cleaner than it is now, then cross stitch (I'm not far from finishing it now) & play Sims for the rest of the day.
It's cold here today, I went for a walk earlier when it was 5 degrees now I need more coffee to warm up a bit.
Tomorrow will be morning routine, vac & mop & give the ensuite a tszuj before filling the car & heading to the airport to pick them up at lunchtime.
wishing you all a happy day my dear FLYsisters
