Hi Elasti, Lovely to see your posts and such a focussed list. Have a lovely day!
Hi everyone,
Can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Another long day yesterday on project, but it's at the printers - needs to be printed, then collected and delivered to the client. In between DSiL is meant to be coming to visit with DNeph. But tomorrow… space!
Today is doing what needs to be done, but I've started my sometime soon lists - for home, for work, for me.
Wishing you all a great day!

Good Morning Lovely Ladies
Well, I hope that DD16 is turning a corner. The 'coating' on her throat and tonsils has dramatically reduced. Still very red and inflamed, but this has got to be a good sign. She had a much better nights sleep last night and is actually looking a little refreshed today. Hoping that a shower later will freshen her up a bit more. Still finding eating and drinking painful, but now she is feeling the pain reducing effects of Neurofen, where last week she wasn't feeling any relief at all. Biggest concern now is complaints of pains in her abdomen, as there is some threat to internal organs with this virus, that is a concern. Will keep a close eye on it and won't hesitate to go back to Dr if it gets worse. Hard to know if it's muscular, actual stomach or other internal organs. Enlarged spleen is a common symptom but also the Liver wasn't doing well last week.
I did achieve things yesterday but not in any real 'routine' fashion. More of a flitting about way. My whole oven/grill/stove is shiny and my sink was shiny at end of day, so that's good. Clothes washing is up to date, and folding, but ironing is still there to do. I tried to sew the edging back on a blanket yesterday with invisible thread but my sewing machine hates me. So I abandoned that idea and just walked away in a huff and didn't even attempt the rest of the jeans (which are mostly old 'house pants/coloured jeans', but I know I can't wear them until I take them in).
Today I'd like to give the house a vac, do a load of towels (in the machine now), make some Dukan treats, and do some more damn sewing. I have decided to tackle the blanket by hand but it's about 2meters of edging to be sewed back on, so I will leave it until later and do it while watch a movie. I really want to get the sewing finished and the machine packed away into spare bedroom (DS21's ex-room) so I can have the space for the new bar stools when DH gets a chance to build them.
The rest of the day will be 'room by room' PUPA and then vac through I think. See how far I get.
Wishing you all a Wonderful Wednesday. It's Anti-Procrastination Day (I'm having Anti-Procrastination Week - so far, Oven Cleaned, PowerHead off Vac Cleaned, Griller and Stove Top Cleaned - all wretched jobs, so TODAY'S will be the Sewing and hopefully the Ironing).
Well done Elizabeth, Elasti and Medusa, you all seen to be FLYing along nicely. Finding some BALANCE or at least planning some. You ladies are AMAZING!!!!!! xoxo
