Good Morning Girls!
Hi DrSarah, lovely to 'see' you, you're going well!
I've been MIA for a while - I caught DS' cold & have gone downhill pretty quickly. We've still been busy with a few things this week but I'm hoping to have a restful day. All I'm going to do today is bare bones routines, 2 loads of washing, paint 2 little desk organisers that DH has made for me out of some spare timber he had & cook dinner. The rest will wait. I'm planning to 'alter' the desk organisers (mixed media type thing) but probably won't do that while I feel sick. Painting will be a good enough start.
Wishing you all a happy day

Hi Dr Sarah, You're doing great and lovely to 'see' you back on the forum.
Hi Elasti, Hope you're feeling really good very soon.
Hi everyone,
Busy and feeling a little overwhelmed today. Kids' soccer games and my class this afternoon, but lots of work due next week and the usual blessings and day-to-day jobs. Will pop to the 3s, I think.
Hope you all have a good day.

Hey there! Elasti-Girl - sorry to hear you're not feeling well, but good for you for taking care of yourself properly and knowing when it's a day for easing off. Elizabeth - just keep plodding on bit by bit and it'll all get done in the end. Amazing how much you can do just by taking it a bit at a time! Having completely triumphed over Friday here (I finished EVERYTHING on my day's to-do list - I seriously think it may be the only time I've ever managed that) I'm nipping onto this forum to start drawing up my to-do list for tomorrow. (Waiting up for DH so we can watch 'Once Upon A Time' together, so I feel like doing something useful with the time!) Mostly doing more of the stuff I've already done, just chipping away at it: - Empty dishwasher
- Few minutes more on children's room
- Few minutes more on living room windowsill
- More work on post about Lundy Bancroft's book
- More work on own writing
- Another CPD module
- Get DS out for a walk (DD is calmer & can miss a day of getting out without ending up climbing walls, so when DH is home I can leave her in the house)
- Exercise
Hmmmm.... trying to decide whether to put ironing on that list or not. I'll have that down as a 'maybe'.
Hope you're all doing well. I'll catch up with you guys in the morning!

Good Morning Lovely Ladies, nice to see you all
It's raining here today, I know I shouldn't complain as we really haven't had much. But why a Saturday, it really does effect business on a Saturday. Any other day of the week is not so bad, but Saturday is a real downer. Also I didn't do 'Load a Day' yesterday but was planning a couple today, might have to still do some and hang indoors.
Yesterday was pretty FLY. Got my Friday FLYaround done which feels good. I would normally be at work and it wouldn't happen. House-wise I am feeling on top of it - excluding the Zone cleaning that is still in the planning(procrastinating) stage. Got my Daily Routines going pretty well and my Sink was Shiny at bed time.
I did great with my exercise yesterday, but then the diet fell apart when DH offered me a glass of red and I didn't have the will power to say "NO". All sense of moderation went straight out the window. At least I had done a good workout to balance falling off the diet wagon. Back on again today. This month has just been spinning my wheels and I am getting rather frustrated with myself over it. I am going to have to start wagging my own finger in my own face soon and give myself another stern talking to. It has finally happened that 2 people have noticed my weight loss, and I couldn't feel worse about the stalling month I've had. It's not even a plateau (which happens form time to time when dieting) it's just that I am NOT following it correctly and therefore not achieving. All my own doing. Anyway less talk, more action required.
I think DD16 and I will head to the local shopping center later in the day (after the worst of the crowd clears). Both of us are feeling a little 'cabin fever', she has an eye on a WII game and I'd like to check out some fridge baskets and some faux Tuppleware at KMart. DS21 & GF will be here for dinner tonight and I need to think of something for dinner.
Ok, time to move it. Wishing you all a Super Saturday and a Wonderful Weekend ahead. Try to find some time to relax and renew for the coming week,

Well, took me a while and I didn't spend nearly as much time on my writing as I should really have done... but the criterion for the list was just to spend at least a bit of time on that plus the other things, so, once again, I've got everything done. Hooray for manageable to-do lists and for holidays!
