Good Morning to all the Lovely Ladies
AAAHHHH Sunday, our day of Rest
I was up way way too late last night watching re-runs of Game of Thrones on Foxtel. The new series starts in April, so they are re-running to get us excited, and it's working in our house.
It's a fairly drab and drizzly day here so far, the forecast has a 60% chance of rain all day. I might head out to the garden during breaks in the rain to do some pruning (still not wanting to bend to weed) just to tidy things up. My back is much much improved but just don't want to risk going backwards yet.
Yesterday I cleaned out a couple of shelves in the pantry. As much as we try to not have waste here, being on Dukan has caused us to have let somethings go out of date simply because we just were not using them anymore. I've thrown them and had to deal with the guilt of that. I really hate waste, especially food waste. And I will be much more conscious in future of not overstocking the pantry and of course not buying pre-prepared jars & packets.
On that note, I have decided (after much internal debate) to swap my diet from Dukan to Calorie Controlled to give my body a change and hopefully a shake up. There are 1,000 different plans to lose weight, and they all follow the same basic principle, eat less, lose weight. Dukan just does it with high Protein/Low Carb. Other methods do work and I am giving it ago. Just feel my body needs to variety right now.
Time to hit the "Daily's" and get on with my day. Wishing you all a Superb Sunday and hope your having a Wonderful Weekend

Hi Everyone Shellie- glad your back is improving and you are being careful with it. You know your own body best in regards to back and diet so do what works for YOU! Glad you are enjoying your day too Medusa I had a lovely night out last night with the girls and it wasn’t too late. I didn’t sleep that well tho and read for an hour in the middle of the night. Today I went to church and then came home to potter and relax. DS21 dropped in to give me some flowers as I did all his washing. I dont mind at all as where he is living the laundry has been pulled apart to rebuild. Its been gorgeous weather here this weekend. DH is coming home about 9.30 tonight and although he is still off until Friday I have to work everyday except Friday. Of course it looks like a busy week. I want to see ‘That Sugar Film’ tomorrow and have all the kids around for dinner on Tuesday. Home Group is here on Wednesday so hopefully that will be it for the week as DH is working next weekend (yeah i know..about time!! All I need to do today is a bit more in the ZONE and I want to cook some steak for my lunch tomorrow
Hope you are all Having a Great Weekend!! xx

Hi everyone, Nice to pop in and see what you are all up to. I doubt any of DGD's antics were personal. Sometimes, I think they just don't know how to process separation and need some time to decompress. Hope the rest of your day was nice. You are a lovely Mum doing DS's washing when his laundry is being rebuilt. I hope DD enjoyed the little pony activity, Medusa - sounds cute! So please your back is improving, Shellie - take care.
Mostly work for me - it doesn't rain, but pours. I have four jobs at the moment and it will be a juggle, but I am very pleased to be working for different people and building up my experience and networking. Hopefully it bodes well for on-going work in the field. I need to interview soon, though, and haven't done that in years.
It's wet here, but bless DH, he has done most of the washing and a significant part of tidying downstairs. DD is in the middle of assessments and I'm trying to help. Some of it will be just keeping her fed and slept and reassured.
DS9 played rugby this morning - his second game and scored!!!! I am so proud and really quite surprised, but he is enjoying it which I think is what matters.
We are all tired and DS4 has enjoyed pottering around on the weekend. DMum has been in hospital but I think she's improving now. For the holidays we are planning to spend the Easter long weekend with my in-laws and I will probably come home early and work a few days while DH stays on with the kids. Then the next weekend I plan to go away with my parents and do the reverse. As long as DMum is feeling better, I should also be able to keep up with some of my work and travel back for any meetings if needed. Just a busy period. If DMum isn't up to it, I will just come back earlier with the kids and juggle with DH like I usually do.
Reminder to self:
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
