Hi, Medusa & everyone!
Still Wednesday here, but planning ahead for Thursday. Tomorrow is, as things stand, the last day before November when I'm actually at home without having the kids there - every other day either I'm booked to work or the children are on holiday. (It won't be as bad as that in practice, because I've got quite a lot of annual leave so will end up taking some of it before then, but I still won't have many days at home on my own in the next few months and so I want to make this one count.)
Planned to-do list:
Things that are hard to do with the children around
Set up Bluetooth in my car Mop the bathroom floor Store some old clothes in the attic Order the massive list of missing Lego pieces from various sets (that'll be a long job requiring concentration, which is why it falls into this category)
Regular jobs
Emptying dishwasher Exercise: jumps, weights routine, 20 mins on bike, and must remember to leave time to shower afterwards! Log into work to catch up on work stuff and prepare for Fri's session Packed lunch for the next day (luckily only my own, as children having school dinners all week as it's the special Easter menu, but will still involve finding time to go into town to get fresh bread roll) Laundry - got the towels to wash
Other stuff
Do some preparation for topic I'm supposed to be discussing at clinical meeting Fri Take stuff to charity shop
OK, I may well think of something else but that's more than enough to be going on with. I may not get the Lego ordering done, as I still have the best part of one large set to finish sorting through and reassembling so that I can check for missing pieces (I want to order them all in one go to save on postage), but I'll do what I can. Meanwhile, I need to get to bed - just hope the monsters monkeys darling sweet children [ahem] have settled down enough to let me get to sleep before it gets too horribly late, since I don't want to be too tired to get stuff done tomorrow!

Good Morning Medusa, Sarah and all the Lovely Ladies to come
Yesterday was a bit BLAH!!!! I woke with a bit of a sore throat (mainly just uncomfortable) and a very sore swollen gland in my neck (high on the jaw bone), so I just felt BLAH!!! A glass of red wine last night (medicinal only of course) was the 1st relief I got from it all day. I did manage 2 loads of wash and a general tidy up, but no WHB (which was the plan), a basket of folding and a good clean up in the kitchen and a quick grocery shop. And took DD17 to the 40% off PriceLine sale. And cooked a Chicken Stir Fry for dinner (I bough a pack of fresh Stir Fry veg to make it easier) and shined my sink.
Last night I took a half a pill and got a much better nights sleep (the night 'heats' are back) and have woken today to a much easier throat and the gland is not so sore. And much more energy that yesterday. The power(and germ killing ability) of red wine, I think.
So today I am planning the WHB (again). Might not get it all done, but at least make a good start. I also have a bit of paper clutter to deal with and few small loads (while the sun is still shining). Dinner is a Turkey Leg Roast with Cranberry/Walnut stuffing (prepared at Woolies) and baked veg. The home run of the day will be to get the folding and the ironing done too, but lets not dream too big.
Ok, DD20 has surfaced so I can go make some noise. Wishing you all a Terrific Thursday xoxo

Hi, all! I thought I'd get the mucky sweaty jobs out of the way first, so here's how things are at this point: Set up Bluetooth in my car Mop the bathroom floor Store some old clothes in the atticOrder the massive list of missing Lego pieces from various sets (that'll be a long job requiring concentration, which is why it falls into this category) Emptying dishwasher Exercise: jumps, weights routine, 20 mins on bike, and must remember to leave time to shower afterwards!Log into work to catch up on work stuff and prepare for Fri's session Packed lunch for the next day (luckily only my own, as children having school dinners all week as it's the special Easter menu, but will still involve finding time to go into town to get fresh bread roll) Laundry - got the towels to washDo some preparation for topic I'm supposed to be discussing at clinical meeting Fri Take stuff to charity shop Also did a bit more of the Lego sorting and assembling, just to give myself a break from the other stuff (once I get going on the Lego sorting, it's actually addictively enjoyable Three hours to go before collecting children. I'm going to do a bit more of the Lego stuff, then have lunch.

Lunch eaten, some more Lego done, and I have now set up Bluetooth! Only took me fifteen months after getting the darned phone to get around to it.
Let's see - less than two hours left, now. I'm not going to manage to order the Lego pieces, but then I'd suspected I wouldn't have time. I'll go into town now as there's some stuff I need, and I can take the box to the charity shop at the same time. Then, when I get back, I can use whatever time is left on work stuff.

Ooops - wrote that before I left, but seems I didn't press the 'post' button.
Anyway, here I am back from town, errands all done, and about forty minutes to go before I collect the children. I'll get some work stuff done and call it a good day!
