Good Morning Medusa and all the Lovely Ladies to come
Glad you enjoyed the High Tea Medusa. My brother took DMum to one for her last birthday (honestly I think it was more about him wanting to go rather than treating DMum - I am a little jaded when it comes to him I guess. He's diabetic and the last place he really should be is a High Tea, using DMum as an excuse gets him there). But glad you enjoyed yours.
Feeling a little glum today. Not the best weekend. I seem to be the emotional punching bag around here for just about everyone (nothing new really), they like to take turns and although I try to jolly everyone along and make everyone else feel better and bend over backwards to see everyone else's needs are met, I never seem to get the same in return.
This morning I laid it all out for Hubby (one of the offenders) and got nothing. Communication is not one of his strong suits.
Anyway moving on.
Wishing you all a Marvelous Monday and a Wonderful Week ahead xoxo

Hi All Medusa- a busy weekend? and looks like another busy day today!! Shellie- Sorry to hear your family are unappreciative of all you do. I have felt that a lot in my years too, esp when I was a stay-at-home mum. Hope DH wakes up to it soon. He sounds like my DH who thinks if you ignore a problem it goes away?? Enjoy your day today . I enjoyed our fairly quiet weekend. I think Ive surprised DH with being organised for meals with guests but also my diet days/menus Amazing what you can do when you STAY HOME sometimes!! Its a work day for me today. DHs sister and her hubby are coming for dinner so I don't expect to get any FLYing done-maybe water the pot and hanging plants on back porch? and tidy kitchen after they leave! Half the dinner has been prepared/cooked and the table is all set too.
Have a Great Day!! x x

Hi everyone,
Great to read about your days. Heigh ho for me and it went well except I was a little cross with my boss - prepared for 11.30am meeting and finally saw her at 1.40pm all rushed because I then had to race to collect the kids. But hey, work is still really very good on balance.
Tonight DD has her music lesson, but I'm hoping to duck to the shops and have a relaxed half hour to myself.
Wishing you all a love evening.
