Yesterday was a busy day, but we got lots done and the house is 'ship shape' (for the most part) ready for the gathering on Saturday (DD's 21st BBQ), as long as we don't trash it again before then. They mostly won't be inside (unless it rains) but still they will need to use the bathroom and some might be camping on the couch. DD's and I also went for quite a long walk (and that really tired us out). And then last night DH and I went out for a Seafood Feast for our 26th Wedding Anniversary. The food was amazing, not too far off diet, but I think the wine might have been lol. Oh well, I didn't get fat from eating out too much.
Today is DMum's Day. I will pick up her groceries on my way over and then do some cleaning. She has had a plasterer in fixing some cracks in the ceiling (3 rooms) and he sanded back yesterday (finished the job), he was really good at the clean up but that fine gyprock dust just settles on everything.
Ok time to get dressed and get moving. Wishing you all a Terrific Thursday xoxo
DGD wasn't too happy to start off with but she brightened up. I did get to vacuum and mop the whole house.
with the view to do at least ONE thing each day this week & cross it off. I'm pleased to say that I've done at least 2 things each day. Woo! Tomorrow DH has a day off, I've got a specialist appointment & DMum, DD & I are going to look at a local scrapbooking shop afterwards.
