Good Morning All,
Elizabeth - Well, that certainly is a party to remember!! I do hope both of the kids are ok!? 'cleaning injury' lol
Shellie - How did DD's 21st party go? (I'm almost afraid to ask! lol )
We've had a couple of days of dramas (nothing serious, just annoying & time consuming stuff) but now DParents have just left & DH has a work day so it's the kids & I & they are back to school tomorrow. Next Sunday DSiL will be here to stay for a week so I've got a week to get things back into shape. I've got a long list to do & I'm not feeling crash hot so I'll just get started & see how far I get. Later I need to duck out to the chemist to get some scripts filled as well.
To Do:
morning routine wash sheets & remake beds wash clothes chemist refill pill box clean & refill coffee pot clear out fridge & freezer rubbish prep school lunches plan next week menu plan write a grocery list PUPA
folding recycling/rubbish out put bins out to kerb
what's for dinner?
afternoon routine before bed routine
Gravy: declutter/organise zone
sort some mail
ironing
walk FACE find allergy tests (paperwork) I need to do on DS
Have a great day all, hope to BBL to cross things off

Good Morning Lovely Ladies
Feeling a bit 'shabby' this morning, and so is the house. (And NOT Shabby Chic, lol) No 'shiny sink' at my place Elizabeth.
Oh Elizabeth, poor DD and while cleaning too. Thankfully as you say Medical treatment was close at hand and the scar will be well hidden, but what a scare for her and then you. But DS, swallowing something shiny, opps!!! I hope that he had a good birthday anyway.
No such drama's here last night. We had one girl come by train/bus all the way from Sydney, I drove to pick her up at the bus stop about 7pm so hadn't had a drink before then. But since.......wwweeeelllllll......., forgot to keep a tally (yes I know), so just had to put the same girl in a taxi back to the train station, couldn't risk driving. DD(almost)21 had a great night, I will tell her all about it today, lol. I guess, with us included, there was maybe 35. Great bunch, school friends, Uni friends, 'couples' friends and family and all getting in and mixing well and getting to know each other. Fun night. Beer Pong was played and some sculling song kept being sung, at one point my name was sung and I was handed a bottle of Vodka, never afraid of a challenge, haha. I am now 'down with the kids'.
Oh and our wonderful young neighbour came to the rescue with some much needed seating. One minute we seemed to have plenty of chairs, next minute crowds arrived and we were short. Very grateful for her.
Anyway there are sorer heads than mine in the house this morning, so I'm creeping around trying not to make too much noise. 1st coffee had and 2nd won't be far away. I really should have eaten more last night, better go get something now, oh! I wish we had Peanut Butter, I really feel like toast with Peanut Butter.
Wishing you all a Super Sunday, hope your having a Wonderful Weekend xoxo

Hi Elasti, Oh dear - I hope the dramas are well and truly resolved and you can recharge this week. Take care!
Hi Shellie, Yayyy for what sounds like a very happy party. What a great DNeighbour. Hope the 'shabbiness' wears off soon and the peanut butter fairy comes.
Hi Medusa, I hope you enjoy church and have a lovely day.
Hi everyone, Well, we've fronted up for the day ok. DD12 still has a whopper headache and we're all a bit tired, but DS5 is enjoying his new presents and intermittently nagging people to play with him - very effectively, I might add. I have a couple of hours work to finish and a club AGM this afternoon. Then I want to get sorted for the week ahead.
Wishing you all a great day!

Hi Everyone Oh My Goodness Elizabeth- what a party to remember!. Glad all the DKs are ok now. Sounds like a plan to take the child to the ER while others clean up haha. Shellie- have a lovely relaxing day getting over your hangover Glad to hear it was such a good night. You must be pleased DD has such a nice group of friends. Elasti- sorry to hear you’ve had some dramas too. Hope all goes well for you this week and that you get some time for yourself now that the kids are going back to school! Medusa- have a nice quiet day too- they are just the best kind!! Yesterday we worked at the rental house all day and then DD25 and her housemate came for dinner and spent the night. DH made some pizza dough and we had pizza boats ( i think turkish pide?) We watched a movie late last night and weren’t in bed til 1.30Am - for no good reason Today we had a party at church with a BBQ and also a coffee van as our Pastors are moving back to the US. It was a bit sad as they’ve been here 7.5 years and were a lovely family. DD25 and her housemate came too and DD30 and her family also were there. I made a carrot cake, a cheesecake and an eggplant dip to take there so Ive been busy. After church our previous DBPs came for a coffee which was really nice and now they have left and DH has gone to work- afternoon shift- should be home at 11.15 Its been a really cold day with lots of rain this morning and lots of sun this afternoon. Ive fed the chooks and collected eggs, scooped poop, emptied bin and recycle bin, brushed the DDog and emptied 2 drawers of the dw. I still need to do a load of hand washing dishes, put on a load of dark washing, make soup for tonights dinner and lunches this week and peel and cook apples for apple sauce to put in jars. Then I plan to sit and read, watch TV, knit and enjoy the peace and quiet!!
Have a Good (non- drama filled!) Day/Evening Friends!! x x
