Hi Shellie, So pleased you are safe. Hi Elasti, Hope you had a good night's sleep last night - it makes such a difference. Hi Judy, Medusa, and all our lovely ladies,
Today is work from home and do lots of jobs I didn't get to during the week. I am so pleased I don't work at work 5 days - 4 is almost too much.
Lots of jobs so might pop back with a list or drop into the 3s.
Wishing you all a great day!

Today DD is at school, I need to go to the mechanics and get a new key encoded (some fancy thing that the engine wont start without it in the key) hopefully that wont take too long, then I need to pick up the stuff for lunch tomorrow with MIL.
Hope everyone has a great day

Good morning Elizabeth, Medusa & those to come,
I hope you get to all those small jobs Elizabeth.
Has DD settled back into school Medusa?
Shellie so glad to hear you are all safe & well after the storms.
I want to let you all know where I'm at & why I've been unwell so much & MIA from here at times. I've been to my dr a little while ago out of desperation & he diagnosed me with severe depression. I've been put on an anti depressant & I go back to see him in 2 weeks & I've made my first appointment with a psych in about 6 weeks.
Yesterday I got up with a headache & by the time I got the kids to school it was really bad so I came straight home & slept for 2 hours. I got a few things done afterwards & made 2 phone calls I was putting off so I'll call it a success. Today is DH's day off, he's taken the kids to school & I've written a list of things I'd like to get done today & tomorrow before DSiL arrives on Sunday morning to stay for a week. I'm taking things one step at a time, taking care of myself first & whatever I get done in a day is okay.
I'm off to make a start Wishing you all a happy day xo

Hi Everyone Yes Elizabeth-definately need those 'at home’ days! Unless its worth your while to get a cleaner in, but then you still need to do all the washing, cooking, help with homework etc. Hope all goes well with the key Medusa- sounds expensive Elasti- good to see you here!! Just dont expect your meds to kick in straight away. It could still take 6-8 weeks to feel good again. One of my DF has just been thru it too- hugs! And do take it easy on yourself Today i have DGD (until Sunday lunchtime) Daddy forgot ‘Mumble” so we will need to go pick him up soon-no way will she sleep without this huge stuffed penguin . My DM and DSis are coming over for ‘morning tea’ but it will be so close to lunchtime and then they’ll have a 45min drive home so Im making some Asian style pumpkin soup and some chuck-in-the-oven-for-10mins bread Dinner tonight is Moussaka and DH has already make the meat sauce. I have a few loads of washing to wash and dry today. Ive also stripped my bed so will need to re-make that too.I will just take things easy today as I dont want DGD to get stressed about staying here so long without seeing her parents
Hope You All have a Fantastic Friday! x x- Anyone going to dawn services tomorrow?

Hi All,
Been out to grab a few supplies at the shops this morning. Have 2 loads on the line and cooking up some food to refreeze. House is doing pretty good considering. DMum is still without power. I bought her over here yesterday for shower and hot meal, but she insisted on going back home. Sent her with thermos of hot water and food. Rang her this morning and asked did she want to come back today and maybe stay the night, but no she doesn't want to. I will need to go over tomorrow and dump the food and clean out the fridge and freezer, take photo's or list the food she has lost. I just didn't have room in my freezer to get her food in and I lost most of what was in my fridges any.
Heading for the treadmill soon but not much else planned for today.
Hoping you all having a great week and you have a Wonderful Weekend ahead.
