Hi everyone, I feel as though this year is simply rushing by! Today is heigh ho and we are having pasta for dinner. The farmers markets has fresh pasta and sauce and it is delicious. I will also do a big salad on the side. Another work deadline today, but it's going ok so far. I need to spend a little time getting on top of what needs to be done so that when I switch between projects I don't lose anything I am meant to be doing. Home jobs for this afternoon include remembering to bring the washing in (stayed out all night) and folding and putting away my clean clothes (I have been digging through the basket each morning ).
Wishing you all a great day!
Thanks for all your support.

Good Morning Elizabeth and those to come
Today DMum is moving house. She has been in the house for 32 years, she built it with my dad and we grew up there. She is organised so it shouldn't be too difficult.
I have mum's laundry/linens to wash, her dog in our backyard to keep him out of her way. I need to take DD to drs and then will be going to help mum
Have a great day

Good Morning Elizabeth and all the other Lovely Ladies
Elizabeth, you really seem 'on top of things'. I think you are doing amazingly. I agree about the year speeding by.
Medusa, trust me, it's great your DMum has chosen to do it now when she can be actively involved and it's her choice. I hope she is downsizing to make life easier for her in the future. My DMum was very reluctant when she moved 16yrs ago and really took about 5yrs to settle, but now (of course) she couldn't be happier that we did it when we did. There is no way she could do it now and participate.
Today I have a home day (well until the afternoon), it's my 1st 'home alone' day in well over 3 weeks, probably more like 5 or 6 if you factor in DD21 who's Uni schedule is mostly online lectures and her 'honors study' which is all self studied at home or in the library.
So I think I might go nuts and mop the whole floor. It's well vacuumed and with no one else walking on it, it might dry without foot prints all over it. Other than that it will be washing (3 loads), I got DS22 and his GF's washing done yesterday and got all DMum's done the day before.
Dinner will be Turkey Taco's I think, in the Slow Cooker.
Ok, I am dressed, have Load 1 almost done and Loads 2 & 3 sorted. Time to do a few 'Daily's' before I take DD17 to school and make a quick stop off at the little grocery store.
Wishing you all a Terrific Tuesday xoxo

I second Shellie's comment Elizabeth you seem to be really on top of things
Shellie - I know what you mean, DMum especially chose a townhouse with a bedroom & ensuite downstairs so that she can stay in the house as long as possible when she is older. She is 59 so hopefully will be in this house for a long time. It is close to 3 out of 4 of us kids, close to friends and church and the townhouse is 7 years old so still reasonably new. The yard is smaller & easier to maintain as well.
Hope you enjoy your at home day Shellie

Good Morning Everybody,
We've been busy with DSiL- out & about for most of yesterday & out again this morning. DD has finally decided what she wants to do for her birthday - she's having 4 friends over on Saturday for the day to hang out & play some PS3 games. She doesn't want a big deal as such, just a get together & some party food.
DS is now sick with a cold so he's not feeling too happy, unfortunately. Dinner tonight is a BBQ & salad. Thursday is a hospital appointment for DS so that'll take most of the day & Friday will be cleaning up & organising for the party & DSiL goes home early Saturday morning.
I hope everyone has a great day xo
