Good Morning Lovely Ladies
Today is a DMum day. She has several appointments and I will restock her fridge/freezer a little more. She is determined not to have too much (like before the storm) but as she doesn't drive anymore (self imposed) and really couldn't push a trolley if she did get anywhere I think she does need to stock up a little, just in case I have to miss a day if I or one of the kids gets sick. We will have to make a compromise. I did a little cooking yesterday, so that will add some home cooking to her supplies and I will just make extra and freeze it up for her.
Yesterday was fairly productive, even though I didn't actually get everything done I wanted, I did enjoy having a day to myself for a change.
On our way to dancing DD17 wanted to go to Priceline and get some 18th gifts (1/2 price perfume day). Katies was next door, so I went in there. The light weight jacket (I have been stalking for a sale) that I picked but wouldn't buy at $79 on my birthday in January was marked down to $39 and hanging under a sign that said 'take a further 30% off', so I checked with the assistant, YES down to $27. WooHoo. They had it in my size and in 2 different 'in season' colours (champagne & salmon), so I bought both. 2 for $58 instead of 1 for $79.
Ok, time to get a wriggle on. Wishing you all a Wonderful Wednesday xoxo

My DMum almost didn't get to move in, as the other people's bank messed up, but she got in at the last minute and so last evening was full of trying to get everything in the house. Today is unpacking, moving furniture from the lounge room where everything is etc DD is at school, so during school hours I will be with mum then wont go back after school pick up, DD needs time to unwind after school.
Hope everyone has a great day

Hi Everyone Shellie and Medusa hope you get done what you need to do,for your DMs today. My DM is leaving for a break to Bright for a few days with a DGF from her retirement village. Its someone she knew from years ago. Her village is a Church based one-actually next door to a church- and she knows many of the people there. My DSis’s inlaws are there too. Anyway she has gone to Bright which is so beautiful in Autumn. I haven’t had internet at home for a couple of days so Ive only posted quick posts on iPad or at work but last night DH went under the house (and believe me there is not a lot of room under there) and has got it working. A friend who used to work with Telstra years ago is putting in new phone lines. Hope that will help even more as our phone line is very crackly and hard to hear So today is my WHB, its lovely and sunny although cold, and Ive planned to go to lunch with an ex work colleague. She is an older lady and so lovely and we are going to a pretty cool place for lunch. I just hope its not too noisy for her- but i guess it is Wednesday so shouldn’t be too busy. I should probably go and help at rental at 4pm when DH goes there but I probably won’t

Hi everyone, Working from home today and it is blissful - quiet and DDog is excellent company. Must remember to work though and not drop my bundle because I have a little space. Planning on using my pomodoro timer and alternating work jobs with home jobs in breaks. Also planning to take work out to the deck as I just saw a post of another woman's workspace and think it's a lovely idea. So first up: * finish morning routine - 20mins * set up outside table with jobs - 10mins * make list * make cuppa * start work Feeling disappointed in the world and humanity this morning. Focusing on serenity to accept and prayers for those suffering. Attachments:
