You look like you've been doing great, ElastiGirl! I've just completed Day 12 here (apart from the sink cleaning, which I'll do later once dinner is finished/the kids are in bed), so behind schedule but determined to keep plugging away.

Day 13 - cleared off flat surfaces in the living room for a Kelly's Mission, 15 minutes work on my desk pile for decluttering, 5 min Room Rescue in the children's room, Hot Spot work on the stairs/the dining room table, sink clean, and... hold on a minute... right, clothes laid out for tomorrow. Hope you're doing OK, ElastiGirl! 18 days to go, and I'll keep plugging away for as long as it takes until I'm done.

Sorry - haven't posted here for ages, but just wanted to say I'm still plugging away! Only managing one or two Babystep Days per week, but still in there! Got as far as Day 25 and hoping to get Day 26 done today. But if it's not today, well, I'll still get it done. And the tip for Day 26 is very appropriate!

....OK, you know what? Enough of this! I've had lots of days where I just haven't had time, or energy, or whatever, to do all the Flylady stuff, and lots of days when I just needed a break or just couldn't be bothered... but enough is enough. I've been at this for four whole months, the children's new school year starts tomorrow, I'll have a million other things to do, and by god I am ready to be bloody well DONE with this. So, today is going to be Day 31. Not 'Oh, well, I've got lots of other stuff to do but I guess I'll see how it goes and get around to Day 31 if I can.' Day 31.
Things I've done already today:
5 minute Room Rescue Laundry Swish & swipe
Things I still need to do for Day 31:
Kelly's Mission 15 minute declutter (or working on some task that needs doing) Few minutes on Hot Spots More laundry rebooting Laying out clothes Cleaning sink
Other things I need to do today (so I don't end up staying up late with lots still to do):
Exercise Packed lunches for me & DD for tomorrow Write letter to son's teachers Some blogging I want to do before the school year starts Preferably something towards my CPD (optional, but needs doing at some stage so would be good to get some of it done now) Dinner Log onto work to get any last-minute stuff out of the way before I go in tomorrow Anything I've forgotten (bound to be something)
So there you have it - there's the plan. Totally manageable, right? Well, never know if I don't try. About an hour and a quarter left before I have to start cooking dinner, so let's see what I can get done... go!

Done Kelly's Mission, Hot Spots, laundry rebooting, exercising, and packed lunches... making progress... time for a 15 minute declutter (well, going to spend it on completing a form so it's more like life decluttering rather than actual clutter). Getting there, getting there!
