Good Morning Medusa and all the Lovely Ladies to come
Enjoy your Anniversary 'getaway' Medusa, sounds like a fantastic idea. And so glad you are starting to do that now while DD is still young instead of waiting 25yrs like we did. I hope you continue to plan something for each other each year xoxo
Well this morning I actually got a sleep in, stars must have been in alignment. DH must have been quiet, DNext DN must had had the day off, DNext DN Dogs must have stayed asleep, no kids banging in the kitchen making breakfast, even DCat must have got the memo and stayed asleep in her sunny corner in the family room. Ahhhhh Sleep, how I've missed you.
Now of course all this sleeping in means I feel behind, but I'll catch up as the day goes on. I've had my morning call from DMum (she rang 15mins after I woke, so glad she didn't wake me), Load 1 is in the machine and Loads 2,3,4 (all small) are sorted, Dishwasher is running and the sink is full of fresh hot soapy water (didn't actually shine my sink last night) to do the few things that didn't fit in to the dishwasher last night.
I missed my Friday FLYaround yesterday so planning that today, just freshen the living areas before the weekend, DS22, DD17, DH and I are definates for dinner, still waiting on confirmation for DS22'sGF, DD21 & TNB and the other one. I've planned Chicken Breast in Lite Coconut Milk with SunDried Tomatoes, any leftovers can be frozen or used up on sandwiches. Also planning to clean my shower today.
Anyway, sounds like someone just arrived, wishing you all a Super Saturday, a Wonderful Weekend and the very Happiest of Mothers Day's if I don't get back tomorrow xoxo

Hi Everyone Medusa- sounds like you have planned a perfect night out!! Shellie- Im glad everyone got together to co-operate with you having a sleep-in. Sleeping in is just the best things for busy mums! Dinner sounds yummy too. Can I get that recipe as we have home-made semi-dried tomatoes I had a sleep in today too. DH is on night shift, leaves about 10.45PM so Im getting in bed a bit later than usual- nice to have a quiet read on my own too! I did most of the things on my to do list yesterday. I need to hand wash a couple of delicates- one that has an greasy mark on it and then do my work uniforms. I have some ironing to do and am making a bit more effort with dinner tonight- trying out a new recipe. I also want to make a big bolonaise sauce today, for tomorrow night, as Ill be in church in the morning, visiting DM in the afternoon and our kids are here for dinner. Ill cook noodles tomorrow and zoodles for gluten-free and carb-free people. And a fruit salad for dessert will suit everyone. We’ll have some nibbles before dinner as well. The plan is to get everything done as early as possible and if DH wants us to work at rental place for a couple of hours after he wakes, we can.- but i really dont want to!!
SATURDAY
Ta Da showered, dressed, meat out to defrost, coffee
To Do handwash 2 delicate items, uniforms onto wash, wash a few dishes, ring DM, finish yesterdays folding, IRONING, hang uniforms, feed chooks and collect eggs, make bolonaise sauce, prepare veggies for tonights dinner, Quick shop for some fruit & veggies and chips/snacks, go to rental property(if I have to) Dinner, dishes, feed DDog, shine sink, Tonight- do the recipe folder, put away all folding and ironing
Whats for dinner?- Chicken Paprika on cauliflower ‘rice'
Hope you all have an Excellent Day!! x x

Hi everyone, school fete today and home now exhausted. Made cupcakes which sold well, but I finished them just shy of midnight. DH is getting Indian for dinner - yum! Tomorrow is rugby about 45mins drive away, although DS9 has a sore foot. Maybe he'll decide he doesn't want to play ... But not likely!? Hope you all had a great day! I like this: Attachments:
