Good Morning Everyone,
Yesterday DH had the day off & we'd volunteered to help out at DS' school, putting flat pack furniture together for some of the classrooms. It was hard work but rewarding.
Today I feel pretty tired. Also my doctor has tweaked my meds & I'm feeling the side effects. I've got a mountain of washing backed up (I didn't do any yesterday knowing I'd be gone all day) so I think I'll have a slow day, follow my routines, get the laundry under control & see where I'm at with the babysteps.
I hope everyone has a happy day

Good Morning Lovely Ladies
Medusa, you poor thing, sinus plus chest infection, glad to got onto some antibiotics, I hope it clears everything up quickly and you are back to good health soon. xoxo
Elasti, I have heard that meds need 'tweaking' to find the right combo for each individual. Glad to hear your Dr is onto it and keeping a close eye. Maybe if you get the washing up to date today, you can ACTUALLY have a 'slow day' tomorrow and ACTUALLY rest some. xoxo
The sun has unexpectedly popped it's head out this morning (predicted rain all weekend), so I have got Load 1 in the machine and hoping to get a 2nd in, out and dry too.
Kind of went totally 'off the rails' last night with the diet, bought beautiful Abbots Bakery bread for the menfolks lunches and then couldn't resist making some toast with jam, that was after deciding a couple of 1/2nip Bacardi's was a good idea, and that some Apple Pie with cream and a sprinkle of sugar wouldn't hurt. Anyone of these things probably wouldn't have derailed anything, but honestly all in one night. WAY TO GO SHELLIE!!!!!!
New Day....this holding my weight thing would be ok if I had managed to get to my goal, but I haven't. I am hovering around the same as at Christmas (up a little, down a little), getting frustrated. Need to tighten things up again and throw some exercise in to boost things along, I am just not motivated to get on the treadmill and it's cold outside to go for a proper walk. Need to get my head right, then the body will follow I guess (plus I have moved to DH's way of thinking, hoping this new mattress will fix all that aches).
Ok, need to get on with my "Daily's". Wishing you all a Superb Saturday and a Wonderful Weekend ahead xoxo

Hi Everyone Elasti- how good of you to help out at school like that- especially as you have so much to do yourself and being tired with the meds. I hope the tweaking helps. Medusa- you have been so sick- the antibiotics should kick in quickly. Take it easy until they do~hugs~. Shellie- maybe its the weather but I had 3 days of stuffing my face I was better yesterday so hopefully Im back on track. We are now in that season of not bothering hanging the washing outside. For a start I get up too late and I have a front loader which takes 2 hours to do a load. If its dry there is no wind and the washing takes a couple of days to dry in the gazebo and thats only if I’m home in time to get it in before its damp again. We have a tall clothes airer in the spare room and I have a smaller one in the study. I must admit I use my dryer a lot Elizabeth- having to work with others the way you do and rely on them before your work could be finalized would make me want to kill someone!!..just saying I had a lovely day with DGD yesterday and when she slept for 2.5 hours I did nothing. I read my book on the couch and dozed. Last evening I watched Eurovision. Hopefully today i can get my butt into gear -its not yet! Im going to a Trivia night tonight with a DGF. Its for one of the local CFAs
