Hi everyone,
First up ((((hugs)))) Shellie for yesterday - so frustrating, sad, disappointing and a whole lot more - but you can't pick family unfortunately. Know that we know you and how much you do for your DMum as well as everyone else.
Today is work from home, so I'm posting. Need to do home jobs as well.
Will try to BBL after dropping the boys at school.

Good Morning Elizabeth and all the Lovely Ladies to come
Thank you Elizabeth, I do feel your cyber hugs. I know DMum appreciates all I do, I get a little embarrassed at how often she says thank you. And she drives me a little nuts with constantly offering me money for what I do. I don't accept it very often as I do, what I do, because she is my mum and I love her. She did shout me a couple of lovely wraps at the beginning of winter (you know the ones that are in all the stores now) and I am so grateful for them, they are so handy to just add an extra layer against the cold and so easy to whip off when a 'hot flash' hits. It was just really sad to hear her say that that was the thing that would improve her quality of life and I am helpless to make it happen. My Brother is an @$$, he has always been a selfish @$$ and he will always be a selfish @$$. DMum likes to pretend it's because he is now 'disabled' from his stroke. BUT the ONLY issues he had from his stroke is a numb area in his throat so he had to 'learn' to swallow again and he needs a sleep apnea mask when he sleeps. ALL his limbs are fully functional, he was so bloody lucky I can't tell you and still HE...IS....AN....@$$.
Moving on.
Today I need to go shopping (retail therapy is the best). I was whisking some egg whites the other night (with the hand blender attachment) BANG...a wire snapped and Egg Whites everywhere, I was wearing them. NOT FUNNY.......STOP LAUGHING.......Any way mess cleaned up, cut the 1 broken wire off and it kept on whisking, problem averted. Recipe Dukan Coconut Muffins a success. Cut to last night, whisking up some light cream cheese to make Light Cream Cheese icing for on top of the before mentioned Coconut Muffins and BANG........another wire broke, Cream Cheese EVERYWHERE and I'm wearing it........SERIOUSLY STOP LAUGHING. Anyway Big W has a Russel Hobbs brand on sale with just the Soup Blender and Whisk attachment, so I am going to buy it. I will keep the rest of my set here as it has a bowl with chopping and shredding blades which I use fairly often too. But you know the killer, I had several other cheap ones over the years which I replaced as various parts broke or even melted in the soup, but I had kept all the working bits, well when I bought the new beaut one, I DECLUTTERED like a good FLYBaby all the bits and pieces. I am sure there was a spare whisk that went that would have fit this machine. Oh well.
Ok, almost time to take DD17 to school and hit the shops. Wishing you all a Fabulous Friday xoxo

Hi Everyone Hope you get all those home jobs done in between working Elizabeth. Don’t think Id be disciplined enough to work from home. Shellie- I can’t believe your S(tupid)B-driving past his DMs all the time and never dropping in sorry but I did find it hard to stop laughing imagining your kitchen. Medusa- you work so hard at your church I wasn’t too good yesterday. I think I suffer from SAD- really! Top temp yesterday was 10 degrees-thats the coldest day we EVER get during Winter and not every year and only once or twice. I can’t believe we had such a cold day 4 days into Winter!! I ate EVERYTHING in sight and then told DH to bring home fish and chips for dinner!! He has been working at the rental place until about 10 at night. Came home for dinner last night and then went back again. Then he goes on computer and reads his fb and the news etc and not coming to bed until midnight. I had to be up at 5.30 yesterday and believe me DGD WILL be napping today (so I can too!!) Her dad will stay for dinner tonight as DD30 works 2 nights in a row once a fortnight, starting at 5pm-7am. Not a lot planned for today. I need to get photo for my drivers license, go to library for Storytime with DGD and change sheets on my bed and make up spare bed. I dont expect DD25 and TNB to stay the night on Saturday but if they do ill have 2 beds made up. Speaking of TNB and kids boyfriends. DS21 took a girl out to dinner on Wednesday -my work colleague's DD. This colleague is the one I job share with and the one I’m closest to. I hope it doesn’t end badly!!
FRIDAY
Ta da Up, washed and dressed by 7.45am, dishes done, last nights washing in dryer, work uniforms on, chooks fed, eggs collected, meat out to defrost
To Do finish stripping bed, hang up uniforms on clothes horse, sheets onto wash Go to post office, library, shops ironing?, remake bed, make guest room bed folding, prepare dinner,
Whats for Dinner? rissoles, sausages, mashed potatoes and veggies
Hope you all Have a Good Day!! x x
