Good morning ladies, hope we slept well.
Today I'm doing something I've never done before.....I'm heading off to meet someone I met online! ooooooooh!
Today is my first day of A/L and already my 'plans' for my time off have changed. My Dfriend (who lives in Hervey Bay) has asked me to come and stay with her for a night and we'll have a girly weekend, she's also planned to have lunch with her mum and sister who I haven't seen for close to 20years.
Ok off for 2nd coffee and last minute packing. Have a great weekend!

Good Morning Lovely Ladies
I am up and ready for my walk and it's looking like it's going to rain but I think I'll risk it anyway. Then DD16 and I are heading to the big shopping mall to have a 'look' around and then do a quick grocery shop for the weekend. Home, groceries away then WHB front half of house. The menfolk are golfing of course.
Yesterday DH called just before I got in the shower to get ready for work to say it was quiet and I should stay home so I had my longest walk yet instead, made it to the next suburb around the lake and back. 1.5hrs. Then home. WHB back half of house. DH came home early with a lovely bunch of roses and we watched a movie together. Dinner was Spag Bol. I cooked up a Slow Cooker full of mince, onions, fresh and canned tomatoes, grated carrot and zucchini. This was the base for the Bolognaise and will be the base for Shepherds Pie on Monday too. I even got my ironing up to date (inspired by SYS doing the same).
Ok better get a wriggle on.
SYS, safe travels. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.
Wishing you all a Super Saturday and a Wonderful Weekend.

Grr I just wrote a long post & lost it... good morning Sys, Shellie & those to come, Jeez Sys, are you sure it's safe?!? There's a lot of loonies online ya know! Travel safe Shellie it's so nice to get roses, it makes you feel special Enjoy them! I've been MIA with a cold for a couple of days, with RA it hits me hard sometimes. Blah. DS caught it at the same time so he's been off school & is a bit sooky. The lack of sleep is the worst bit. Today I want to just keep up routines, PUPA & make a rough plan for next week. That'll do me I think, my brain hurts. wishing you all a happy day

Hi Sys, Hope it's a lovely time with your new friend. Stay safe, of course, but I hope it's the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Hi Shellie, You are doing such an awesome job with your exercise - very inspiring! Have a great day.
Hi Elasti, Sorry you lost your post and hope your RA has settled down. (((Hugs)))
Hi everyone,
Better late than never. Today is cricket - yay!!! DD11's game was close and her second over bowling was a real game changer - one proud Mummy! The other team needed 7 an over and she kept it to 4. She's improved so much.
I've made a big discovery re. paid work. I'm aiming for a minimum of 2 hours a day and if I can't see my way to fitting it in, I'm doing it early and first up. So this morning, I couldn't bring myself to get up at 4.30 because of a late night last night, but got up at 5.30 and did an hour before taking DD to cricket, then another half hour at cricket and will squeeze that extra 30 mins in somewhere, but it's an improvement.
Tonight is my DGf's second 40th - she was pregnant with her son last year so didn't have one. It should be a fun night and a chance to catch up with long time friends.
Tomorrow is a home day except for DD's make up violin lesson and DS8 needs to catch up on a bit of homework. Hoping to get the house under control so I have a clear work week.
A few extras next week - DS8 needs a blood test early Monday morning; DD has a soccer trial and a district cricket trial - extras that we don't normally fit into a week. Though I've menu planned and have everything in the diary.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
