Hi Everyone Hope you’re all enjoying today. Ive had a lovely sleep in and although its cold outside its lovely and sunny and Im feeling warm with the sun on the window next to me! :)Today is my WHB day and Im home all day. I even told DH he could take my car I damp wiped my baseboards last night and boy did the cloth come away dirty. Its been a long time since Ive done those sort of ZONE jobs. DH doesn’t want me to drop any days at work and i dont think it would be easy to as I know one of the girls is pregnant. She is the all-rounder who knows everyones job. The only other person we could train to do our job is one who some of the Drs dont want doing theirs as she makes so many mistakes. If she can’t get the receptionist side of things (after a year) how will she go doing the hospital side of things which has more details?? It came to me that maybe instead of dropping a day I may pay someone to do my WHB each week. Then I would have time to do extras. Our study needs a good clean up as its the dumping ground to hide stuff when we have visitors etc etc. Anyway I’m going to talk to DH about it but dont know that he’ll agree. Looking after DGD for a whole day each week means I get nothing done on that day and Im exhausted at the end of it lol so today...
Shower, wash, dry & straighten hair, dress, make bed, load washing on, empty dw, hand wash just a couple of things- DH cooked more apples last night, empty vac bin, scoop poop,
give the house a very good dust, vacuum and mop. clothes in dryer/hung on clotheshorse, feed chooks, collect eggs, brush dog, make up guest bed, fold clothes in dryer/clotheshorse from yesterday, fold todays clothes that are dry. Bring in bins and mail, deal with mail, write Sponsored child a letter Prepare dinner, feed DDog, dishes and shine sink
Whats for Dinner? DH has taken out 2 different sorts of sausages to defost and Ill roast some pumpkin ( extra for pumpkin soup?) and fry up some veggies. DH will also have mashed potatoes
Hope you all have a Lovely Day!! x x and get to post if you can.

Good Morning Judy and those to come I think that is you are working you can legitimately get a cleaner to do the general house stuff Today is not my day. I woke up with conjunctivitis, so cancelled seeing my Dfriend who I was really looking forward to seeing (she has a 2 month old and a 5 yo, didn't want to risk passing it on) Then when I went to my car to go to drs, it wouldn't start. Thankfully DMum came and babysat DD and I borrowed her car to go to drs. Now am home and waiting on car people to check the battery. Have an osteopath appt this afternoon Have a great day

Oh Medusa! what a Pain! My colleague from work had conjunctivitis too and I haven’t heard of that in adults for years. Hope everything gets fixed with your car. Lucky your DM lives nearby!

Hi Medusa, I hope you get relief soon for your conjunctivitis and the car is an easy fix. Take care.
Hi Judy, Yes! Someone to do the basics for your sounds like a great solution and would take the pressure off. You're also paying it forward because you will be supporting a local business.
Hi everyone,
I've been swamped since I got back, but it was worth it! Today DH flew up north early, I have a child minder here and am working from home before a meeting in the city this afternoon. I will take the bus in as it's so much easier (and cheaper) than parking.
Home jobs are progressing. We seem to have decluttered quite a bit recently and I'm trying to focus on the positives rather than on what I still have to do.
DChildMinder is cooking dinner with the kids - she's a gem! So it's just the usual daily home jobs today.
Heigh ho!
Wishing you all a great day.
